Chapter 19

Sasuke's Pov

"Kakashi, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well as a former Kage, I need to show up in time of war." Kakashi Explained. "And I heard about Shikamaru's death, it's going to be hard without him."

"Yeah," Naruto sighed. "To be honest, I don't have a plan for taking down Code, and it's even harder with him being dead."

"Our only hope is Boruto." I chimed in. "He's the only one who can rival Codes' strength, but we still need to help him with everything we got."

"So what happened with Boruto?" Kakashi asked.

"It's a long story," Naruto said. "In short, he's a powerful cyborg who can tap into Isshiki's power with his new Karma Amado gave him."

"Karma huh.." Kakashi Sighed. "But with Boruto being revived, doesn't that mean Code can use Boruto as a sacrifice to the ten tails again?"

"Yeah," I said. "But this is our advantage, Code can't kill Boruto who is relative to him in power, meaning he has to hold back while we can go all out."

"You're right," Kakashi said. "We should get Boruto in here and start planning on how to defeat him."

"Okay," Naruto said. "Sasuke, can you go get him?"

"Yeah."

"Boruto..." I said walking up behind the kid. "What are you doing at the cemetery?"

"You are...." Boruto stuttered.

"Oh yeah, I haven't introduced myself to you yet," I chuckled. "I'm Uchiha Sasuke."

"Sasuke huh," Boruto said, looking down at his feet. "Thanks for saving me yesterday...."

"Don't worry about it," I smiled. "Go to the Hokage's office, your dad wants you there."

"Dad?" Boruto asked. "What does he want?"

"Lord Sixth, Your Dad and I are figuring out a plan to defeat Code," I explained. "They want you to help plan with them."

"Okay," Boruto said as he activated his Karma and created a dark red portal. "Come, we'll get there quicker with this."

"You go on ahead," I said. "I need to talk to someone real quick."

"Okay," Boruto shrugged as he walked into the portal. "See you there Sasuke!"

Sarada jumps out of the nearby trees and lands right in front of me.

"So, did you notice anything weird?" I asked my daughter.

"Yeah Dad," Sarada said. "Apparently he saw memories of his past life, he even asked if he's still a broken vessel."

"A broken vessel?" I questioned. "He must've seen the memories of when he was with Jigen then..."

"He also got frustrated seeing his old pictures." Sarada said.

"This was more serious than I thought it would be," I said. "Well, good job today Sarada."

"Thanks Dad."

Boruto's Pov

"Boruto, you should use the door next time..." Dad chuckled as I walked out the portal into the Hokage's office.
