Chapter 8

                       Sarada's Pov

"I see..." Dad frowned as I was in his arms still... "Wait..."

"Does that mean you....?" Dad said hesitant to ask the question.

"Yeah."

"The eyes that reflect the heart...." Dad quietly said. "I failed once again, letting my own daughter go through such pain, I'm sorry..."

"It makes me so angry just thinking about it." I said grinding my teeth. "That he's walking around freely after what he did..."

                         Sasukes pov

She's already feeling the hate and sadness I used to feel back then, the feeling of knowing the person who caused you so much pain is roaming around without a care in the world. The feeling of wanting revenge...

I never wanted her to awaken that power, knowing the dark path it leads... Something that no one, especially my own child should feel.

Her hunger for revenge would lead to wanting more power instantly by any means, but I won't let that happen...

"This Code guy, what is he?" 

"Red hair, with the standard Kara cloak they wear, he has this ability similar to Lord Fourths Jutsu.." Sarada said.

"Lord Fourths!?" I yelled in surprise.

"Yeah, it's actually surprising how similar it is, the only difference is that he can travel between them." Sarada explained. "Not like Lord Fourths whereas he teleports between them."

"A Jutsu like that, it's dangerously overpowered, what else does he have?" I asked.

"He also has a Karma..." 

"What!?" I screamed. "How!?"

"Boruto said Code was also implanted with the Karma, along with him." Sarada said. "The Karma failed, but he had survived and the Karma retained in him."

"It failed?" I questioned.

"It's weird, his Karma is white unlike Boruto where his was black, and it doesn't seem like he can absorb Jutsu with it." Sarada explained. "It's like he's using it as a weapon and nothing else."

"I'll need to ask Amado I guess." I gritted. "Go home for now, while I'll need to get the details from him, and then we can talk about your future with Sakura, ok?" 

"Okay Dad." Sarada said squeezing me tighter with her arms. "Thanks."

"Sasuke, glad to see you're doing okay..."

"Amado..." I stared at him. "Well, tell me about that bastard who killed Boruto." 

"Code huh..." Amado sighed. "I suspect you know the basics already..."

"Yeah, what's up with his Karma?" I asked.

"The white Karma..." Amado said. "Code had survived Jigens ritual, but he can't be used as a vessel."

"So the Karma remained.."

"It's certainly a rare case, but that's what happened." Amado explained. "His body retains karma's aspect of being a weapon, there's still a lot we don't know about Karma, but the reaction that took place in code's body is astounding, his combat abilities had exceeded Jigens.."
