Mei x Miriam

The concert

Anything in (these) is just my thoughts because I thought something was funny and I felt like sharing could be caring this time. (it probably isn't)

Miriam's pov:

It was finally the 25th. The 4Town concert that we had been dying to go to. We were going, without Mei Mei. I felt bad. I shouldn't feel bad since she did throw us under like 200 buses. But she would have loved to go to this concert.

I wore my usual things and went to Priya's house. Ever since Meilin betrayed us Priya became my best friend.

I had brought Robaire Junior with me because I knew that he would fully die if I left him at home. While we where walking to Abby's house Priya asked me something. "Do you like Meilin?" I mean like was a very strong word and i couldn't say such a strong word about someone right hehe.

"I think so I don't really know though."

"How do you feel about her when she comes near you or talks to you."

"I get confused because part of my brain is angry at her for betraying us but the other half is just loving her and how cute she is how good of a person she is."

"I mean, you like women right Miriam?"

"I don't know but I think I like Meilin."

"Good answer." She said with a smile. "I always knew you liked her."

"WHAT YOU KNEW? FOR HOW LONG?"

"Since the start of 8th grade bro."

"I didn't even like her then."

"So you do like Meilin." Priya said with a >:)

"WHAT NO I NEVER SAID THAT WHAT?"

"You just did >:)"

"UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH maybe I do have a crush in her."

"i know because you just said it."

I loved this but something felt off. Like it was oddly empty even there are so many people here. It was Meilin. She filled the room with joy no matter how many people were there. You could just tell she was there. She was the light of my life. I suddenly heard something behind us and say "Hey guys..." I turned around. It was Meilin. OH NO IT WAS HER WHAT DO I DO. I CAN"T JUST ACT LIKE HAPPY AND ALL THAT RIGHT? I CAN"T BE TURNING RED INFRONT OF HER. "What do you want?" Abby said.

"Guys I'm so sorry I know what I did was stupid and I shouldn't have done it I'm sorry... for everything...(falls dramatically jk). I realized that losing the panda would be bad but losing you guys would be worse."

"Too bad you already lost us." I said with regret that couldn't be heard in my voice. Mei Mei looked so sad. Robaire Junior beeped. "Robaire Junior?" Meilin said. I quickly grabbed it out of my pocket to feed it or whatever I don't really know what it does but Abby grabbed it from me. "Miriam has been taking care of it since Tyler's party." Priya said. I turned red. "She's been singing to it every night." Abby said with >:3. I turned an even darker shade of red then physically possible. Almost a tomato color. Why does this remind me of something or someone.(iykyk). I looked over to Mei Mei and gave her the Tamagotchi. She looked up at me and she turned red. Wait. She looked at me and turned red. That means she could like me back. No its probably just an affect from the panda thingy she has. I looked over to Priya and she smirked at me and Meilin's faces. "4town forever?" Meilin said. "4town forever" the three of us said. Then the concert started.

After the whole concert panda ceremony thingy we all went home. I'm glad Meilin kept the panda because it changed her to become a more confident, cool, pretty, cute person. At this point I ignore the weird gay thoughts about Meilin because it was at this point unstoppable. I got a text from someone. It was Meilin.

Red panda gorl: hey wanna meet up at my roof?

Sure

Red panada gorl: come through the back window

My face went warm as I started getting ready to go to her place. I had to go through the back window which wasn't hard though it reminded me of how girls get to see their boyfriends without their parents knowing. I turned extremally red at this point. I was as red as a red panda. I walked towards the back of her house and knocked on the window. I heard some slight movement before she opened the window and let me in her room.

"You have to be quite, my mom thinks I'm asleep and if she sees you she'll like you even less."

"Wait why doesn't your mom like me."

"Reasons."

We climbed to the roof and looked at the stars. "Hey why did you want to talk to me" I said hoping I didn't ruin this moment.

"I wanted to tell you something." She said

"You can tell me anything, we'll always be friends, remember us weirdos stick together." I said hating the word friend.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah bro 100%." I said reassuringly.

She took a deep breath and said "I'm Bi I like girls and boys." My heart jump after she said this because I MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. I apparently didn't saying anything after for too long because she said "You think it's weird don't you?" with tears in her eyes. Nonononno don't mess this up. "No I don't think it's weird at all, I actually also like girls too." I said sighing. "OMG YOU TOO?" she said loudly. "Bro your mom is going to hear us." I said in a whisper.

"Are we still friends?" Mei asked.

"Of course we are, is something bothering you?" I said.

"Well that one day at school I saw you crying and going home I knew I caused it but I didn't do anything and I'm sorry." (for everything *dies*/j)

"It's okay it was about my own problem so you're all good."

"Oh ok, so no secrets anymore right?" she said.

"Yep of course." I gave her a reassuring smile.

Meilin's Pov:

I had one secret I couldn't tell her. It would ruin our friendship that just got fixed and I can't risk that. She probably doesn't feel the same so its for the best.
