Y/n's POV

"What?" I asked again. Rose's eyes were filled with tears but the corners of her mouth had lifted up to a slight smile.

"Next week, you can go home" She told me again. I was going home. I drew in a shaky breath. I had no idea how to feel. Would it be different between Camilo and I? Would I see Lacey again? That was one of my biggest regrets. I didn't really talk to her after... the incident. I didn't even say goodbye. I would have to leave Jackson behind. A knock on my door snapped me out of my thoughts. Rose had already left. The door handle turned and a young girl ran in. Her blonde hair was tied up in small pigtails on the top of her head. She climbed up onto my bed and into my lap.

"Hi, Aurora," I said.

"I drew you a picturee" She said sweetly. I took the page from her hands. It was a picture of princess Aurora.

"Princess" Aurora stated, pointing to the picture.

"You're my princess," I said, placing the picture down. Jackson opened my door.

"She didn't even say hi to me, came straight to you" He chuckled. I smiled at him. Aurora slipped off my bed and ran to hug her brother. I smiled at them. Jacksons mom ran into my room.

"Let's make it a party" I said loud enough for everyone to hear. They all laughed. Jacksons other sister came in on her phone.

"Hey y/n" She mumbled.

"Hey Belle" I replied. I loved their names. Jacksons dad got to name all the boys, Jackson being the only boy. Jacksons mom got to name all the girls and she loved disney.

"Hey honey" Jackson mom, Lynn said as she pulled me in for a hug. I smiled and hugged her back. Belle sat down on a chair I had in the corner. I pushed the leaving thoughts away. Aurora ran her little fingers through my hair.

"I want your hair!" She yelled excitedly. I twirled her little pigtail around my pointer finger.

"I want your hair," I told her. Aurora was 4 but she had the energy of a 7 year old. I sighed and laid back on my bed. Aurora laid down beside me. Lynn was talking to Jackson so they were occupied in a conversation while I played with Aurora.

"Wanna know a secret?" She whispered in my ear.

"Sure" I whispered back.

"I'm married," She giggled. I dropped my jaw to look shocked.

"Nope, I can't let you," I sighed. She laughed and traced her finger down the side of my face.

"Okay, i won't because you told me no" She told me sweetly. I smiled at her and tucked a wild piece of curl behind her ear. Lynn walked over and began to tickle Aurora. She was waving her arms all over so I ducked to avoid a flying elbow. Lynn picked up Aurora and placed her on her hip.

"We are going to head on home" Lynn told me while really telling the whole group. I nodded and watched them file out the door. Jackson took a running jump and barreled himself onto my bed. "Soooo," Jackson trailed off.

"Soooo," I finished for him. We stared at each other for a while before I decided that I had to tell him.

"Im being discharged" I told him quietly. Jackson's eyes grew wide.

"You can stay with my mom," He said quickly. I opened my mouth to protest but he cut me off.

"No, you can't leave. You can stay with my mom, in my old room. My sisters love you so much. I know you want to go back to Encanto, to see Conner or Camilo or something." He took in a deep breath "I don't want to be alone" He said the last part quietly. I bit my bottom lip.

"I have to go" My voice cracked. He both stayed quiet.

"You're going to leave me?" Jackson asked. I swallowed the lump forming in my throat.

"I had a life before the hospital" I stated

"And you think i didnt?"

"I'm not saying that you didn't". My tone began to change. I took a deep breath to calm myself down. Jackson got up quickly and left. I sighed as tears fell down my cheeks. I might have just lost my best friend. I laid in bed for the rest of the day. The blinds were pulled and I bundled myself deep in the comfort of my blankets. I was taking in deep shaky breaths to try and calm myself. I heard my door click open and I looked up to see who it was. Rose. She walked over and sat down on the edge of my bed.

"Don't worry about Jackson" She whispered. I didn't say anything. Rose sighed as she pulled open the blinds, it was already dark outside so it didn't matter if the blinds were open or not. I sat up in bed.

"Hungry?" Rose asked. I shook my head. Even though I had been eating hospital food for awhile now, the thought of it still made me gag. Rose shook her head slightly and left. I sighed and laid back down. I rubbed my forehead slightly and stared at the ceiling. Sleep didn't come easily for me that night even though I was finally going home. I tossed and turned until 4 o'clock in the morning. Sleep finally came to me. Finally let me get some release from my head.

Camilo's POV

The wind swept through my hair, leaving it in my face. My legs wanted to go to the mountain but I made them stay. I was done waiting and wondering if y/n was ever coming back. The thought pained me too much to think about daily, would I ever move on? Probably not. A finger tapped me out of my thoughts. I spun around to look at whoever it was.

"Hey lace," I said quietly. Laceys dark hair swirled around her. She smiled at me but I could tell it was filled with pain. She was still hurting about the situation with y/n. Lacey often came to sit or stand with me at the bottom of the mountain, waiting for y/n to return.

"I'm not going today" I said while sitting down on the ground. Lacey shifted her weight between her feet.

"Why?" She asked. I sighed and laid back.

"She's not coming back, we have to let her go" I felt like a dick saying that but it was true.
