Y/n's POV

I forced myself to sleep at about 4 am. When I woke up it was 8. I sat up in bed and leaned back against my pillow. It was quiet in my room this particular morning. I checked the clock at 8:02. Weird. Rose always came in at 7:50 to make sure I ate breakfast. I shrugged it off and began doing a once-over to make sure I had everything packed up. Once I was satisfied I pulled on my outfit and brushed my hair, leaving it down. The map that pepa gave me sat open on my desk. I ran my hand gently over it. I let out a long breath and squeezed my eyes shut. I opened my door to go see Jackson. I opened the door and a Disney movie case sat before me. I knelt down and gently picked it up. I looked down the hall and saw another case. I ran over to it and picked it up as well. I followed the trail of movies all the way down to the cafeteria. I pushed open the heavy doors. It was pitch black inside. I reached to the side and found the light.

"SURPRISE!" rang out through the cafeteria. I brought my hand to my mouth in surprise. Not too many people were there, just the ones close to me. Jackson's family was here as well. Aurora ran up to me and I quickly scooped her up.

"Hi," She whispered in my ear.

"Hi" I whispered back, Aurora held up something close to my face. I moved her hand back slightly to get a better look. It was a piece of her hair tied up in a light blue ribbon. I gently took it from her and tucked it safely into my pocket. I placed Aurora back on the ground and went over to hug Jackson. He wrapped his arms tightly around my waist and I hugged him around the neck.

"Thank you" I whispered. He gave me another squeeze before letting me go. He had tears in his eyes

"You're getting out, you're better. I'm proud of you y/n" He told me. I hugged him again.

"I love you," I told him. As a friend of course.

"I love you too," He replied. I sniffed and wiped away a tear. Jackson grabbed my hand and led me over to one of the tables. There was a small cake with the words

We'll miss you! Spelled out across the width of it. Aurora leaned over across me and swiped her finger along the icing and stuck it in her mouth.

"Mmmm" She smiled. I let out a small chuckle. The rest of the party went by smoothly. I got a few small trinkets. Lynn gave me a small ring with a pink gem in the middle. It immediately went on my pinky finger. Rose gave me a stuffed bear with dark down fur. Aurora gave me a picture of two stick people holding hands (it was me and her). Belle gave me a bunch of candy. Just when the party was about to end Rose brought out a rectangle-wrapped box. I quickly tore the wrapping paper off. Inside was a black laptop. I pulled it out and held it to the sun.

"The internet won't work unless you have internet but you can watch the DVDs" Rose handed me a bag with DVDs in it. All Disney. I smiled and said my thanks.

Now Jackson and I were standing at the bottom of the mountain. The only thing keeping me and Camilo apart.
