Y/n's POV

"What's wrong?" I asked, concerned. Aurora climbed up on my bed and cried into my shirt. I rubbed her back gently and patiently waited for her to calm down and tell me what was wrong. Finally she finished crying and looked up at me.

"Are you leaving?" She asked. I sighed. I was dredging this conversation in particular.

"Yes," I said quietly. Aurora's tears started again.

"I'm not leaving forever, I'm going to come back and visit as often as i can" I reassured her. She slightly nodded against my chest.

"But I'm going to miss you" She protested. I hugged her tightly.

"I'm going to miss you even more," I whispered. I pulled away from her and walked over to my desk. I picked up the safety scissors that were still there from when we did arts and crafts together. I held out a strand of hair and snipped it. I looked back at Aurora, who had her hands over her mouth and her eyes wide. I picked up a light pink ribbon and tied it gently into a bow. I handed it to Aurora. She twirled it gently between her little fingers.

"There, now you have some of my hair. That means that I'll always be with you" I said while tapping the piece of hair. Aurora nodded.

"And you will never leave?" She asked.

"As long as you have that strand of hair you will always remember me". She nodded again.

"I'm going to visit so much you're going to get sick of me!" I said loudly.

"No!" Aurora giggled. Just then Lynn burst into my room and took me in a bug bear hug, almost smothering me.

"I'm so happy for you" She exclaimed. I smiled at her.

"I don't think Jackson is," I said quietly. Lynn sighed.

"Aurora, how about you go see your brother?" Lynn suggested. Aurora got up and ran out of the room. Lynn placed her hand on my forearm.

"He'll come around darling"

"I just feel like he hates me"

"If he hates you, he's completely in the wrong. You're getting out, you're going home, back where you belong" Lynn wiped a tear from the side of my cheek.

"We are all going to miss you so so much," Lynn whispered. I nodded and sniffed.

"Where's Belle?" I asked.

"Oh, she, well.." Lynn stuttered. "She found out you're leaving and she felt like you didn't care about her". I sat up straight in bed and placed a hand on my chest.

"I do care about her!" I yelled with tears running down my face. Rose ran into the room.

"I'm going to have to ask you to leave," Rose told Lynn. Lynn looked at me with sympathy in her eyes. She left and I stood up out of bed just to fall to the ground. I screamed into my hands, sobs racking my body. Rose knelt down beside me and rubbed my back

"Everyone hates me because I'm leaving!" I cried. Rose sighed beside me.

"No one hates you," She said soothingly. I looked up and wiped at the tears falling down my face.

"You need some rest," Rose said while helping me up. That was true. Rose pulled my blanket up and over me. Sleep came fast. For once.
