chapter 52

"Miles we need to talk"

Those words felt like a dagger to his heart as he immediately started to think the worst and it showed as he now started to sweat. He then made his way over to Gwen and sat down next to her before saying
"What's the matter?"
Gwens face dropped a little as she told him
"Miles I don't know how your going to react to this and I've been fearing tell you but something kind of big is about to happen as well becuase you see I'm Pregnant."
Miles head had went into overdrive after Gwen has said she didn't know how he's react as his thoughts went round his head at a thousand miles an hour with his main thought being 'She's leaving me isn't she I'm such an idiot I should of treated her better then I have been'. He was able to focus back on to Gwen when she said those 2 vital words
"I'm Pregnant"
Miles just instantly went into shock before he simple said
"What!?"
Gwen spoke back to him but while she was she had started to Cry.
"Yes Miles I'm Pregnant I don't know how it's happened but it has. I know we're still young and I will understand if you don't want to be with me anymore because of it but I really want you by my side in all of this I can't do this on my own Miles I'm sorry I've slamed the breaks on your life"
Gwen broke out into uncontrollable crying but she suddenly just felt Miles kiss her on her cheek and hugging her she looked up to Miles who was smiling and had a tear in his eye before he proudly said back to her.
"Gwen why would I leave you. I love you to much for that to ever happen and I'm so happy right now.
Gwen wiped her eyes and asked
"You are?"
Miles replied back
"Yeah I really am as you see ever since you told me you loved me when I was in that hospital bed I wondered what would the future be like would we get married which we did and also I pictured us having our own little family.  Yes the timing is a little earlier then I imagined but we will find a way to make it work we've already overcome one barrier in the way so why can't we move more but I'm just so happy right now."
Gwens frown was instantly turned into a smile as she then kissed him on the lips which Miles didn't need to hesitate to kiss hers back. As she then said to Miles
"Here's to our family and another addition to our growing spider family"
Miles instantly went onto his gizmo and sent a message to the rest of the spider family saying
'Guys wonderful news me and Gwen are going to be parents she's pregnant'
Almost instantly his gizmo was going crazy with messages from them all  saying congratulations then he received a message from Peter that read 'Congratulations yous two I always knew you would end up having a child together if you need any help don't be afraid to ask (you going to need it)'
Gwen suddenly realised they might have a problem as she turned to Miles and said
"Miles what we going to do with Cindy's training since I can't help?"
Miles responded back to her
"I still want you to be there but il do the training plus if you watch you can tell her the things I missed but il sort the swinging and fighting you tell her the mental side of the abilities.
Gwen nodded and said
"How did I managed to get someone like you Miles caring and smart."
Miles smiled before saying
That's you Gwen and I'm so glad your mine but you think we should tell me dad about our little joy."
Gwen laughed before saying
"I think he will already know by now"
They then sat down and watched TV as for a strange reason New York had a rare day of very little crime.
