chapter 73

As they arrived back into Gwens dimention and she suddenly started to feel sick to her stomach as she had flashbacks back to when her farther passed. Miles noticed this as he went over to her and hugged her knowing that she was about to cry but Miles hug gave her the comfort she needed as he then spoke to her saying
"Everything is going to be fine Gwen I'm always here for you"
Gwen smiled at this as she then looked up to the sky and saw smoke rising into the distance. She then spoke up and pointed saying
"Guys I have a bad feeling about where that smoke is coming from but we need to check it out."
Both Miguel and Miles both nodded as they made there way to the smoke. It turned out Gwens intuition was right as the smoke was coming from the arena. The same area where she did her last performance with the Mary Jane's. Gwen looked around and noticed the writing advising the latest event, 'MARY JANES FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY'. When she spotted it her heart dropped again and she just froze knowing now her ex band mates where in serrious trouble. At the same time Miles noticed the advertisement as well but he then just spoke up.
"We need to go in! Miguel you male sure the crowd are fine, me and Gwen will make sure the bands fine."
Miguel just nodded knowing the reason why and Miles went into a sprint signaling Gwen to follow and she quickly followed. When they got in they couldn't believe it seats were ripped out and the stage was almost destroyed. But then they all looked up and noticed there was another vulture causing the problems. Miles then spoke
"How many more times we going to have to deal with vultures"
Miguel shrugged and then said to the vulture
"OK you've had you moment now it's time to end your show"
At this moment the vulture spoke up saying
" ferma l'atto e dimmi dov'è il vero uomo ragno" (stop the act and tell me where the real spider man is)
Miles then spoke up saying
"Can you say that again so we can actually understand you"
This made the vulture mad as he then swooped down and attacked Miles with one of his wings sending Miles flying it was lucky that when they arrived the crowd were in the lobby so where away from the issues and safe. After the hit the vulture then swooped back round picking up both MJ and Betty and flying up after he got to the roof of the arena he dangled them for a couple of minutes with both of them screaming in fear! Once again Gwen was starting to get bad flashbacks. But she shook it off as she shouted
"This time the only one getting hurt is you, Infact your just a cheap vulture knockoff"
Gwen had truly annoyed the vulture as he just laughed and dropped both MJ and Betty luckily Gwen swang up and managed to grab MJ but not Betty as she kept falling. However both Miles and Miguel noticed her falling and knowing they wouldn't get up there in time they both started shooting webs rapidly making a safety net and they made it just in time as she landed on it. Gwen seeing this dived down and landed next to net telling Betty to follower her and still carrying MJ she led them to the corner of the stage so they were safe as she told them.
"Stay here you will be safe. Il check up on your after I've finished dealing with this idiot"
She then swung off and after she left MJ  spoke to Betty asking
"Was that just me or did she sound like Gwen?"
