chapter 70

Two weeks had passed since Miles and Gwen hosted there own party and today they were taking up the offer that Peter had offered them about seeing may more. But before they were going to set off to head over to Peters dimention they had to wait for Rio and Jefferson to pick up Aaron. When they arrived they saw Gwen preparing everything everything that Aaron needed including his food and milk. After about 30 minutes and a tantrum from Aaron Rio and Jefferson took Aaron with them but as they did Aaron started to cry as soon as they left the apparentment and his crying could be herd all across the hallway. Gwen sighed as she herd this as she turned to Miles and said
"I hate it when he cries I just want to always go and help him."
Miles hugged Gwen before he replied back to her
"I understand totally what you mean but most of the time he's wanting attention that's why he does it if he keeps that crying up he will be asleep withing 10 minutes"
At that moment Gwen laughed saying
"Your probably right there Miles and it will make looking after him so much easier for your parents"
Miles couldn't help but chuckle at Gwens responce. 20 minutes later they were about to set off when had alerts come to them about a robbery taking place. They were going to help but then Miles spoke again saying
"We promised Peter we would go to today we can't break that and besides Cindy can sort this out".
Gwen responded
"Yeah she can I sort of forgot about her due to the fact she was dealing with personal issues but she's back helping out now and she will do fine"
At that moment they both made there way to Peter dimention and after a short walk got to there home. As they rang on the door bell Peter answered and welcomed them in and they couldn't believe what they saw. May was trying to run. Miles looked to Peter and said
"How long has she been trying to run for?"
Peter responded back
"She only started this morning but she's  learning fast then we thought"
Gwen nodded as a way of saying I get what you mean. After 5 minutes Peter had gotten her toys out whilst Miles and Gwen were sitting on the floor playing with may who had the biggest smile on her face before Peter joined them. They continued to play for an hour until may fell asleep which gave Peter Gwen and Miles some time to themselves. Miles spoke up and asked
"So where is MJ anyways?"
Peter responed
"She's just started a new job and is currently there. She's working in a jazz club as a waitress not the best job but she loves it and that's what's important."
Miles and Gwen both nodded in agreement  before Peter then asked
"So hows Aaron getting on?"
Gwen responded
"He's doing great he's sleeping a lot more and is eating more to. However he has learnt about where he is so he's crying a lot more trying to always have us by his side its heartbreaking not jumping to his aid but he has to learn and ignoring is the only way to stop him attention seeking" Peter nodded in agreement as they all went into the kitchen to make some lunch for them all and MJ who had just messaged Peter saying she would be home in 10 minutes. It was almost by chance at this moment May decided to wake up and start crying as soon MJ opened the door. Peter had a little chuckle saying
"Perfect gift for mama as soon as she comes in wasn't it."
Suddenly  May's crying had stopped and a little voice spoke saying
"Mama"
Everyone couldn't belive it May had said her first word.
