caught in a Web

chapter 58

(Time skip 6 months)

Today was a significant say for Miles and Gwen has today they were finding out the gender of there baby through a reveal party they had decided on 2 months prior. It had just hit 7 am when the alarm went off in Miles and Gwens room as they agreed they would help out rio and Jefferson with getting things prepared and help with food as the spider fam were coming over for the party. Gwen was the one to turn off the alarm then she looked down at her bump that if she hadn't had the scans people would of expected her to be having twins she then tried to get out of bed but struggled but fortunately Miles rushed over to help her up and after she was she kissed Miles before thanking him as they went for breakfast. While they were eating Miles asked her
"So how you feeling today?"
She looked at him with a piece of toast stuck in her mouth she finished eating it before she replied back
"I'm a little nervous but excited knowing If we have a spider boy or spider girl and of course we start are own family"
An hour later Miles and Gwen were preparing food when Rio and Jefferson arrived carrying a balloon that was silver but Miles and Gwen instantly knew that Inside was either blue confetti to signal a boy or pink for a girl they placed the balloon at the side of the living room they then turned towards the kitchen as rio said to both Miles and Gwen
"Why don't yous two relax a little we will cover everything else.
Miles and Gwen both nodded knowing Rio would force them them if they refused as they just decided to watch TV. 3 hours later there was a knock on the door as Miles went to answer as he did he knew who it was and as he answered he was greeted by a hug from Cindy. Miles hugged back before saying "Glad you could make it Cindy but why didn't you use your gizmo now that you've gotten used to it"
Cindy responded back
"Well I didn't want to be lazy and I felt like I could do with some exercise"
Miles  and Cindy just laughed  as he welcomed her inside where she gave her best attempt to hug gwen which they both laughed at. Then the portal opened again and the rest of the spider family turned up they all greated eachother and caught up with what everyone was doing in there own dimentions as no serrious threats had occurred in any dimension. After about an hour they were all sitting around apart from Ham and Peter who filling plates full of food which hadn't gone unnoticed by Gwen as she turned round to them and said
"Hey you two save some food for the rest of us especially me since I am eating for two after all (as she placed her hands on her bump)" Instantly ham and Peter went red as they realised how much they were eating as they appoligsed which caused everyone to laugh. 20 minutes later Rio pulled the ball on into the middle of the living room as she said
"OK everyone time for the main event will it be a boy or a girl"
After this Peni got really excited as she shouted
"Please be a girl please be a girl"
This caused Miles to laugh as they all looked to Miles and Gwen as she gave Miles the nod to pop the balloon he got one of his Web shooters and hit it with enough force to pop it and out came blue confetti. Gwen just smiled as a tear came out and Miles did the same as everyone cheered before Gwen said to Miles
"I can't wait until we meet our son"
Miles  replied back
"Me as well Gwen"
He then kissed her as the party continued for a while after.
