I was able to sleep well after talking to him for a little bit; longer; our talk was able to get my head off the danger. Volodymyr always knew the best way to get my mind off things. It was always clear that it was the right choice to stay here with him, but he reminded me of the good times. The times we are fighting to get back.Just having the slight reassurance that I did make the right choice helps. It might get really scary, but we will keep pushing until the very last second. To see how dedicated he is reminds me how much cares about not just himself and his family, but about everyone whose lives he's been able to touch.
He's not only the leader of Ukraine, but he is becoming a heroic leader for the world. He's been able to do what many have tried before and failed. Just for standing up for what we believe in he's been able to unite the world and have them stand behind us and this fight.
It was interesting that he was still awake, but there is very much a chance that he had a phone call with someone. Probably a mayor of a city under attack by the aggressors, or maybe one from a leader of a foreign power.
I have never pressed him for information about his Presidency. I try not to get super involved. Since we have had to make more content lately, I've been informed and involved even more, but I can see it all taking a toll on him. I hope he tries to take care of himself the best he can in the circumstances we are in.

The days are filled with phone calls and planning. It won't stop, not until we will. Sometimes because I'm such a niche employee I feel in the way. There's only so much I can do or know how to do. I'm on phone calls with other folks that help run other statewide social media accounts. Some of our politicians do run their own; so, speaking with them and coming up with what they need for their feeds is what has begun to take up my day.
Sometimes they ask how he's doing, and I cannot speak about it. Just that he's safe and he can make time to speak with them if they would like. We keep pushing forward. They care about their President. They always have.
Finally, after all my phone calls and social planning for the day were complete. It was almost nine and the air raid sirens began to ring out. They still aren't in our footsteps, but they could be any day now. This is just a way of life for us now. The sirens signal the end of the day for me.
Volodymyr walked out of his office just as I was getting my things around to head downstairs. Today was one of those days I did not get to work with him much, as I had to work through some projects and get things finalized to go up online. Some Days I spend a lot of time with him, and on others I barely see him.
"Have to say a good job on the video for the call tomorrow." He stated.
I finished a video for review about the damage that has already been done to the aggressors. It will be used tomorrow for the address for the UK.
"Thanks," I replied, pushing in my chair. "I wanted to talk to you about using the account to share photos, not just your addresses."
I have always seen more photos than videos when it comes to social media. Since Meta platforms have been our big go, it seems fitting to use shared photos as well.
"What kind of photos?" He questioned, motioning for me to start moving down the hallway.
"Some of our field photojournalists have been posting photos of what life is like in the smaller towns and cities that have started to be occupied. I thought allowing those photos to get exposure on an account like yours with 13 million followers will allow the world to see what it is actually like."
