"You did great." I confirmed, as we made our way out of the interview location.

Before he was able to get a word out, security circles him. He looked frustrated, tried to make his way out of it, but they did not allow him to. He only managed to push his hand through the circle of men, handing me the jacket he had taken before we left for the interview. I took it back, managing to get it on before getting outside.

Following the interview, we all pile into the different vans to head back to the office. I get pulled into the second van that is just filled with different members of the staff. It was hard to tell which van Volodymyr ended up in. It's stuffy and loud. There is talk amongst others, but I was alone since I do not know any of these people.

A small ding comes from my bag, that has all my tech, grabs my attention. Opening the small compartment on the front, I found my phone, just going back to sleep, where I was able to catch that it was the source of the sound. I pull it out and unlock it.

'Emergency meeting, be back later.' Was the lone text from him, as three of the vans behind us pulled off the main road we were driving down.

'Be safe.' I shoot back, not even thinking about it.

'Always am.' Comes a few beats later.

I look above the newest set of messages between us, to see the last text he sent me before this invasion started. His last message was 'If all goes well, make yourself free April 6th through the 10th. We're going to London.'

Those dates are right around the corner. If we were not in this current state, we would have been getting around to meet with Boris Johnson and the government of the United Kingdom. The support of having an ally who is a great 5 power is important, and we would have been able to connect with them more.

It was going to be one of our adventures. Even though he is President we always managed to do something fun during these trips. He probably had some kind of fun day planned for us right in the middle of the trip.

There was even talk about going to France after the election, to try to grow our alliance with the EU, so we could apply for membership, but we had to rush the application process. It is unlikely to be accepted because of the war, but it was still important to get the application in. A miracle would be nice right about now.

I throw my phone back into my bag - trying to not think of the what ifs. My phone hits a bottle of pills, which I quickly grab. The headache from earlier in the day never really left, but at least it never got worse.

Within moments of swallowing the two pills we come to a stop. We have already made it back to the office building. We all file out of the van, with documents ready to make our way into the building.

Not a few steps in, I sit down carefully as the room starts to get a little blurry. I try to shake it off. As I tried to shake it off, as I took a drink of water from the bottle I always keep on me.

"Hey Sasha," I voice called out, down the hall.

Slowly I look up, and it's Bohan. I put on a smile, trying to shake off this dizzy spell.

"You good?" He asks, making his way closer to me.

"Yeah I am good." I lied, standing up trying to seem okay. Making it to my feet was a little difficult at first, reaching out for his arm, trying to find my balance.

"You sure there?" He questioned, holding onto my elbow so I did not fall over.

"I'm good. Just give me a second." After another swig of water, I felt more myself. "What can I do for you anyway?"
