The morning came way too fast. Even though most days I do not need an alarm to get up, I am relieved that I still set one for today. He may have had me going last night. I was able to find relaxation pretty easily. Once my head was able to hit my pillow, I was able to find sleep pretty easily for once. It only has taken two weeks of this war to find that.

The sad thing is that I just woke up with a massive headache, which just made me want to flip over and go back to bed, but there is too much work to get done. I've had some pressure behind my eyes for the last few days, but it was nothing to take note of. This one just makes me want to not take on today.

Yet, I had to get up in a hurry because we had an interview with the American news outlet, Vice News. It should be an interview that gets out to the West pretty well because they have already agreed to deal with other news outlets to be able to use clips of the interview. From the social side, it should be a great thing. Vice is not the first we have been able to get into an interview, but they can get it out to more news stations should help. North America has already been all over sharing it online as well.

The bunker is still in great commotion like it was last night. It is clear that something is happening, there has to be because the bunker normally is much quieter than this. There are for sure more men with guns just about anywhere I can see. It all feels like they are on high alert, and it's kind of starting to get me on edge. I start to move faster.

I still go into the kitchen and make both of our coffees to start at least by myself. Who even knows how long Volodymyr has been up? I was not stopped on the way to my desk, where I left my coffee, and his jacket, and headed into his office with his coffee.

He only looks up from the massive phone that connects him with just about any of his top people, for a brief second, and looks completely exhausted . I make my way to his desk and put the cup of coffee that he seems to need, on the only cleared part of his desk. It is completely covered in different papers. Volodymyr takes the cup off the desk before I could even get my hand away.

As he continued his conversation, with probably someone from the ministry of defense, I found myself wandering around the room. I could feel him looking at me, even catching him a few times. He put the phone down dramatically enough that I could hear it from a completely different side of the room. I spun to look at him.

Just since the last time I saw him he looks completely different. He looked like life had been ripped out of him. There is no way he was able to sleep last night, and it begins to make me feel guilty for being able to sleep so well.

"What's going on?" I questioned quietly.

"The same as yesterday." He answered.

"I call bullshit Volodymyr."

"Come here." It was quiet, his voice almost shaking.

I did as he asked, and walked over to his desk, where he turned to face me. Softly he gestured for me to sit on his lap. I did as he asked, naturally, and wrapped my arm around his neck.

"Just trust me you'll know what you need to know. I don't want to scare you." He said, wrapping his arm around my middle. "Some days of this have been hard on me, but you did not sign up for this." I didn't in ways, but in ways I did. I signed up to join him down here.

"You know I trust you. Just... all of this?" Waking up to all the chaos wasn't good for me. This is so much more than I've ever been through.

"I know, but you're safe. I'm safe. Right now everyone in this building is safe. If you need to know I will be the first one to let you know." As he spoke, he brushed the back of his knuckles against my cheek.
