I slowly opened my eyes. The first thing I noticed was the grass and my golden hair with white streaks hanging in front of my face.
Slower still, I pushed myself into a standing position, keeping my balance on the cliffside beside me as my red eyes struggled to see the environment.
I am... in a grassland. There's blood where I lay. Is that mine? Who is that? My mind whirred faster as I blinked several times, still trying to get used to a physical form. Skies sighed slightly from where I could hear here.
'Here. I extracted some memories that should get you up to date,' I heard her say, and memories flickered across my mind.
Oh. Now it made perfect sense. I formed my own voice in my mind, before clearing my throat.
"You've got some nerve, you know," I spoke clearly with no voice-cracks, and her head whipped around to where it could face me. "Attacking me like that." My blonde hair floated gently in the breeze. My broad golden scaled tail swept back and forth as I glared at her, my crimson eyes twisted with hate and anger, my pupils were slits, I could tell. I've never felt so angry, but it felt... amazing.
"Who... who the hell are you?!" She demanded. I chuckled softly, feeling my darker counterpart slightly influencing my attitude, but I didn't care.
"Call me FlySight. FlySight Askatchi." I said, confidence swirling in my voice. Her emerald eyes widened.
"No..." She started, staring at me. I smirked before running at her.
Before she knew what was happening, a glowing yellow hand was at her torso. She reacted immediately, and pulled away as she hissed in pain. She shot magic at me, and I caught it, throwing it back at her as I jumped and twisted in mid-air. It hit her, and she went flying as I landed.
She stuck out a hand, and stopped. Glaring at me, her hands glowed red, and vines quickly wrapped themselves all over me. I smiled, and used my magic to kill the vines. I am the Spirit of Death, after all. Holding the smile, I reached out my hands to her, fingertips facing her instead of palms, and the dead vines shot from my wrists and held her in place, buying me enough time to focus my magic.
Her eyes widened as she felt the energy being drawn out of her, and got rid of the vines as she started panting slightly. She made to lunge at me, and punched at me. I easily caught her fist and flipped her over onto her back.
"You need to try harder if you're going to beat me, Hatsnii." I teased, pinning her down with ease. She gritted her teeth.
"I'll kill you if it's the last thing I do!" She snarled, grabbing my ankle and slamming me into the ground. My eyes widened, and I extended my tail, stabbing her in her cheek. Her grip faltered slightly, and I grinned with a new idea.
Extending my gold colored wings, I shot straight up into the air, bringing her with me. She let go, but only to land on earth 'n stuff that she brought up with her. We narrowed our eyes at each other, and lightning sparked between them, gold to green.
As we had a stare-down, I failed to notice the metal vines slowly wrapping their way around me until I was practically completely tied up. I wiggled around in their grip for a bit, while strategizing on what to do. Eventually, I relaxed, and started up my magic. Reversing time a little, I was in the same spot I was before, only I shot straight up before the vines could even touch me (No, that didn't create a paradox. How do I know? I'm the Spirit of Time as well.). I did a backwards somersault, and wheeled around to face her with a cheshire cat grin on my face.
I shot straight down at her, knocking her off of her platform. We smashed into the ground, and I jumped off of her, and got some distance between us. Quietly, I surrounded my left hand with my right (as in my left hand was a fist and my right hand was surrounding it). As I began to focus my magic, I could feel it starting to swirl around me. Outside the barrier that my magic provided, I could hear Hatsnii starting to panic.
Once my magic was focused enough, my whole body was giving off electricity, and my magic swirled around the lower half of me. I reached out a hand to her as I did before (though it was my side facing her this time), and let out a war cry (which sounded like the roar of a dragon) as I released my magic.
The golden magic spiraled from my hand as it twisted around itself, before shooting forward-breaking the sound barrier-and hit Hatsnii dead on, resulting in an explosion. I formed a barrier around me as I tried to make sense of what was going on.
After a good five minutes or so, everything finally cleared up enough that I could see. Hatsnii lay on her back. I walked over to her, and saw, with surprise, that her eyes had turned a deep ocean blue. The kind you could get lost in.
"F-FlySight," she started, making eye contact with me as I kneeled by her side. "What color a-are my eyes?"
"Blue," I murmured quietly, as if not to disturb her. She smiled lightly.
"I'm glad. T-This is my true eye color." She explained softly, her voice growing slightly fainter. I tilted my head to one side.
"Why were they green and white then?" I inquired. She frowned, and averted her eyes.
"My... son." She answered, and my eyes widened slightly. She looked back at me.
"Please, FlySight... w-when you find Benny, you have to kill h-him. He wants nothing b-but power." I nodded slowly. She smiled again, and breathed out a thank you before shutting her eyes a final time. I lowered my lips to her forehead, a symbol for saying goodbye to an honorable person.
