I walked across the fields, haphazardly making my way in zig-zagging patterns as I thought. What was I thinking about? Pshh. Who cares. The only noise were my boots against the ground, and my long blonde hair-starting to turn black-swaying as I went. Fatigue started taking over me as I realized what I was doing. You see, I have a tendency to walk a lot right before I pass out. I don't jog, don't run, just walk.
Oh well. Too late to do anything about it now, I thought as my knees buckled under me and I passed out as my hair finished turning back to black.EnderSight's POV
I groaned as I sat up, feeling my joints creak and pop in protest. I looked around the room with my half-lidded eyes as my vision slowly got less blurry. I stretched my back, but stopped when my abdomen sent a wave of pain over me. I looked down, and saw a big patch of red and purple, which DEFINITELY stuck out against the white of the room.
What?
I heard a loud creaking noise, and winced as my ears flattened back. Either my senses beside my vision are being hypersensitive, or that person-thing is NOT good at being quiet.
The person had long, blondish hair and was wearing blue, white and green from what I could tell. Her feet slapped against the floor as she walked over, making me guess that she was either barefoot or was wearing sandals of some sort.
"Oh! You're awake!" She said as she walked over. I winced again as my ears flattened back. Yup, my senses-sight excluded-were hypersensitive at the moment. She stopped.
"Am I too loud?" She guessed, her voice already quieter. I nodded, reaching a hand up to clumsily rub my right ear.
"This good?" She whispered, now sounding at regular level. I nodded.
"Well, I was going to ask if you can hear me, but that's already been answered," She started. "Can you see me?"
I lifted a hand and shook it back and forth.
"Okay, somewhat." I hope she knows sign language. I lifted my hands and signed out, It's getting better, but slowly.
"Ah! Okay." She responded. "Well, I'm WindStorm. How about you?" My eyes widened.
"Wind... Storm?" I slowly said, my voice slightly raspy. The blue eyed girl nodded.
"It's me..." I began. She tilted her head to her left.
"Huh?"
"EnderSight..." I murmured. My vision had almost completely cleared up by that time, and I swear, her eyes got as wide as chakrams, no joke.
"E-EnderSight? But... didn't she... die?" She inquired.
"WindStorm, who else would have been able to face Hatsnii like that?" I questioned her. She lowered her head, her eyes shadowed for a moment as her lower lip trembled. All the sudden, she flung her arms around my neck, sobbing into my shoulder. I froze for a second before relaxing my arms on top of her back.We walked out of the infirmary, and someone who looked like FlyCraft looked up at us.
"Oh! You're awake!" She said as she walked over. She examined my appearance and clothing choice for a couple of seconds.
"You know, you remind me of someone," she murmured. A smirk grew on my face.
"Wonder why, Fly. Then again, I didn't give you that nickname for nothing." I answered, as it was her turn for her eyes to get big. She slowly started walking towards me.
"Ender... Sight?" She asked slowly when she was about 7 feet away from me. I nodded as she continued to approach me. When she came up to me, we were about 6 inches away from each other. She stared at me for a couple of seconds, before...
SMACK! Thump!
"Ow! What the hell was that for, FlyCraft?!" I exclaimed, holding my right cheek from where she back-handed me, and looking up at her from where I fell onto my butt. To my surprise, she kneeled down in front of me, and put her hand on my shoulder.
"I... we... thought you were dead." She whispered. I smiled.
"I know. But I'm going to change that."
"There's one problem, though," Khattee's voice rang out behind me. If you think I was startled, I wasn't, I heard him behind me. I turned around, and lifted an eyebrow, noting that he looked way better than before. It did make sense since we joined his side, it kind of gave him more power. "We don't have an OverWorld Spirit."
I jumped up, extending my wings slightly. "Well, what are we waiting for then?! Let's go find one!" I cheered in a slightly obnoxious voice, before shooting up and off towards the closest village. This should be entertaining.
