I've seen this happen a lot in wattpad, So I've decided to put an end to that. Here's How to write (or alter) a good OC.

1. If you're writing one, make sure to give your character depth and emotions. You can't just make them a dry piece of cardboard just serving their role in a story. When writing a villain, give the villain clear motivations, and also depth. If you're altering one, which is basically just making fanfic of that character, if you add any traits, make sure whatever shit you're adding to the character makes sense, such as in TheCrazyTyto's book, she wrote that Player's beanie is the last thing his grandpa gave him, explaining that's why we see him with it so often.

2. Give characters weaknesses. I'm sorry, but I'm just sick of reading books where the character is an OP god with only one weakness (Cough, Cough, Player's time to shine). Please give your characters weaknesses. If you don't, You're a bad author.

3. NO MARY SUES OR GARY STUES. MAKING AN OC A POWERFUL GOD IS ENOUGH, BUT MAKING YOURSELF A POWERFUL GOD IS TERRIBLE!

Ok, that's enough. Thank you!
