Walking down the sidewalks on a nice Saturday evening, I sip on my cup of sweet tea. Mmm. Homemade. There are kids just playing outside, people riding their bikes around, walking everywhere, but there is one girl who catches my eye. I've seen her around school alot.. But never has she said hi to me. She has long beautiful cocoa brown curls. Bright blue-green eyes, and a soft complexion. She has bright red cheeks, that always blush, and a crooked, but big smile. Although most of the time, she doesn't wear it. She is often sad looking. I worry for her. She is, mostly dressed in black. She hides in her music. Somehow, I know alot about her, just by looking at her. I have that special ability somehow. I figure out a lot, just by looking. I walk off of my sidewalk and onto the road. She's riding an eye-catching bicycle. I walk over to her.

"Hi! I'm May!"

"Oh, hey. I'm Cheyanne, but most call me Chey."

"Do you live around here?" I asked curiously.

"Yeah! Right there." She points at the house directly in front of mine.

"Oh! Cool! You live in front of me!" I said excitingly.

She nods her head and smiles.

" I think we are going to be best friends." Chey said.

I couldn't help but smile. Her cheeks blushed and she showed a smile, too.

"I finally have found a nice, friend." I thought to myself. This will be a moment I'll never forget. I rushed home to get my bike so I could join in the fun. She comes over to my house to allow me time to get it out of the confusing fence. I finally manage to get it out, and then we get on the road.
"You have a nice house." Chey said smiling.
"You too! I love it's color!" I look at the light blue and White House. It's color pops out and blends together with the nice green grass and white fences. It is decorated with a nice sidewalk and a brick drive-in. It has a nice flower garden along the edges with glass animals adorably admiring the atmosphere. Every time you would look over to that house though, there was always a red bird. I thought it was very unique.
"Thank you" Chey said, "my grandfather built it."
"It's very beautiful" I replied carefully.
We kept riding our bikes until our backsides hurt and then we decided it was time to get off. We bid eachother goodbye and walked inside of our houses. I have a friend.
