I quietly arise from my slumber, awakened from the dim sunlight my window puts off. I rise up from my comfortable bed and the world hits me hard in the face. I'm still tired. This hasn't happened to me in about 3 years. I couldn't go to sleep last night. I stayed up until midnight. I rub my eyes and just go with it. I swing my legs over the edge of the bed and stretch my arms above my head. My eyes shift from the chevron painting hanging on my wall, to a clock that reads 5:30. I slip on my pink fuzzy slippers and walk to my white vanity. I quickly apply my makeup, even though I don't need any, and put on mascara, blush, and a soft tint of lipstick. I pull my hair up into a ballerina bun and walk to my closet. Opening the sliding door, I see a closet full of clothes. I choose a tribal sweater, skinny jeans, and some gray boots. I walk out of the door and go into the kitchen.
"What would you like to eat, dear?" Mom said scaring me half to death.
"Uhh," I stuttered, "maybe some eggs and bacon?"
"Sure thing toodle bug!"
That was always what my mom called me when I was little. She made up names for me, and toodle bug was the one I liked the most. Even though now, I'm grown up, I still love it when she calls me that. I shove my food down my throat, bid my goodbyes to my parents, and walk out the door. I pace my walking down the road to my school and get there right on the bell. In the hallways, I pass everyone in the school, I swear, but don't say anything. I suddenly feel and fierce wind coming down on my shoulder, and a soft, warm, comforting hand. The only image, or name, I could think of was Bo. I turn around and see a tight blue shirt. His abs and his pecs poke out of it slightly, showing his beautiful build. I shift my eyes to his and slightly give a smile.
"Hello, May" he speaks with his beautiful voice.
"Hello, Bo" I say, awkwardly. Ugh, I'm such an idiot.
"Would you like an escort to your class?"
"Of course!" I say happily and he takes my hand. We walk down the long hallways getting pushed and shoved, but he blocks most of them. We finally get to the door that says 214. I sigh. Mrs. Hopper's Science class. That was my worst subject. I had an 85 in that class. Bo nudges my shoulder and laughs, leaving me to walk into my class. I sit in my tan desk and plop open my binder. It was so full of papers we have written from the books, it's like it was struggling to get out. I write down the notes from the board quickly, and finish my work. After you get done with your work, you can read, or draw. Anything. So I open up my book and get to reading. I stick in my pink studded earphones and play my favorite playlist. The bells ear piercing ring gets me out of my book. So many boring classes later, it's finally last period. I close my History book, shove it back in my backpack, and leave the prison like place. I walk down the sidewalk making sure not to step on the cracks. I don't know why I did it, but for some reason I always did. A group of girls walk Infront of me and somehow, they know my name.
"May, do you want us to walk you home?" the blonde girl said.
" S-Sure." I stuttered. "Stupid" I thought to myself.
"I don't think you know me. I'm Blair." the blonde said.
"Nice to meet you." I said.
"Oh, and I'm Rosa!" the brunette said.
Blair was tall and lank. She has beautiful brown eyes and was wearing designer clothes. She has straight white teeth and a gorgeous smile. Her hair was long and in loose curls. Nose, pointy, but not too much. Rosa was short, and had medium length hair. Her hair was wavy. She was The perfect height and had some meat on her.
"We'd better get going" I said.
Blair smiled, "Of course."
