We arrive at the law offices. Fred had the same idea but he was paid out first.

We were all parked in the gated locked area and had everyone follow us to the back.
Avery I see you have got your help.Yes. I  am taking my files and file cabinets I purchased and my other personal items.  I will be calling my clients to inform them of the location of the new firm. If any want to stay with Carmen, I will bring the files back myself. Avery I don't forsee that happening but understand.  We are done.  I am taking my stuff home until the building is ready. I already called the painters and the carpet installers already. I just need a key and the password and codes so they can get in. Here is a set of keys and the codes. I will have the locks changed in the morning. If they arrive before eleven    you will need the keys. I already changed the codes too.  Jason thank you for mentioning this building. Your welcome.  I hope this works out better for you. It's a fine piece of property she bought.  Yes. Just a few pieces will need to be reulphostered to our taste.  I am paying for all the upgrades since you purchased the building , the alarm and utilities.  Thanks.  We are a team after all. Janice she will be in good hands.. I know she will. Owning her own building will make a difference.  I have a sign company lined up too. He is a family member so he said he would begin to work on it tomorrow and was going by the site to get the measurements. I have the blue prints for the building.  Come by to pick them up today so he can get the right size . I will do that Jason. 
Fred left and we continue to load everything up.
Carlo, Antonio , Kevin. Drew. Jay and Frankie thank you for helping.  No problem.  We heard what happened.  Where are you going to put this stuff at? In the house all over.  Oh boy Lisa you read for it? No but will make do. Thanks babe .
It took us with all the guys an hour and half to load and another two hours to drive and unload them in the house.
I hope you all are hungry for pizza, beer,wings and salad on a short notice .

They all laughed.  Lorenzo driver showed up with all the food and Drew and Kevin went to get the cases of cold beers.  We ate and again I thanked everyone for showing up. My wife and I  went alone to see  Carmen. We reassured Samantha and Jason we would be okay after we spoke with Fred.

I parked at her place.

Lisa rang the door bell. She came slowly because my wife had broke her ribs.

Come in I have been expecting you. I wrote the check already. I was going to have a courier to drop it off to you if you didn't come by tonight. Again I am truly sorry it worked out this way. Carmen thank you for all the training and the position and allowing me to become a partner at such a young age. I sincerely appreciate it. The check is more than fair. Have you found a place yet? Yes. Here are the keys and door opener for the gate. I do wish things would of been different and you told me right away. We could of worked it out.  Avery I was scared to lose you and in the end I still lost you.  Carmen you lost a business partner. Give us time to get over this.  I don't want t to lose you as a friend.  Really? Yes really. The employees already contacted me on who is leaving.  What did the district attorney say? I  have a court hearing and she is going to recommend community hours.  She understands confidentiality but but American Bar Association I will have to wait on. It's been reported by me already.  I didn't want them to find out another way. Carmen are you going to be okay financially? Yes. I have more than enough saved. 
Lisa and I both kissed her good bye and left.

Lisa it went well.Yes. Are you going to tell Janice we came alone? No .I am not stupid.  If she finds out, I will deal with the yelling and lecture.
I just need to contact when we get back contacting the clients.  I hope she doesn't lose her license hopefully its a fine and maybe a year off before she can practice.  I hope so too. She is a excellent attorney just made a bad decision.

We returned home.  I went to work on the crisis line while my wife contacted her clients.
