"And now my dad has arranged a meet up with the new kooks on the island. We're meeting them at Nana's cafe" Sydney explained to the group as they were all sat on the HMS pogue, driving slowly past the docks.
"Are you okay with that? I mean- going back to the cafe" JJ inquired as he wrapped his arm around the girl's shoulder.
"Yeah, I should be fine. But I'm not getting good vibes. I feel like it's not going to go down very well" She admitted as she rested her head on his shoulder.
"Want us to come with?" Kiara questioned with a smile, wanting to be there for her friend.
"No it's fine, but I'll come find you guys after. Tell you all the goss" She chuckled.
"You guys see that? That's the Malibu 24-MXZ, the world's finest wakesetter. Number one in luxury, quality, and performance. 200K, easy" JJ whistled as he admired the boat that was heading towards them.
"We picked the wrong parents" Pope commented.
"I hate to break it to you guys, but that's Topper and his girlfriend" Kiara informed as she looked away from the boat.
"Oh, hey Sarah!" Sydney called over to the boat that was driving past them, waving at the blonde who smiled beemingly in return.
"You don't have to act like you don't see us, bitch" Kiara scoffed as the blonde looked away from the boat and ignored the other passengers.
"You two just need to kiss and makeup" Sydney commented.
"Over my dead body" The brunette muttered.
"Hey, John B. Can you drop me off here" Sydney called over to the boy who was driving the boat, recieving a message from her dad that it was time to meet the woman who wanted to buy the cafe.
"Uh- yeah. Sure" He replied as he pulled up to the dock.
"Good luck!" Kiara called out to the girl who had now got onto the dock, smiling faintly as she got the same in return.
"I'm gonna need it" Sydney chuckled slightly before spinning on her heel and walking away.
"This could end in two ways" Pope announced as he made sure Sydney couldn't hear.
"She will either like the woman... or kill her" JJ added.
"And let's be realistic here. The second option sounds a lot more- well, Sydney" John B sighed.
