No conversations were initiated at the able since dadi had left for a function and would be coming back tomorrow. Rakshit, Romi, Divya and Drishti were eating their food.

It was just because of Drishti that Rakshit had managed to stay calm and not immediately grab Romi's collar over a few of his comments he made in the name of breaking the silence. She had held his hand under the table and continously rubbed her thumb on the back of his palm to help him relax.

Divya took an active participation in the task of passing indirect comments over Rakshit's loss. Now it was the time for Rakshit to make Romi lose so he stayed silent because he knew what was coming from his side.

"I'm done. Rakshit, come" Drishti held his arm gently and pulled him from the chair.

Rakshit rose from his seat unwilling and followed Drishti who was attempting to avoid any fight breaking out between the brothers. She wanted to mend things between them and for that the first step was yet to be taken. Before that any happening would only mean harm.

"Look how cute. The loser couple going away" Romi laughed.

That was it for Rakshit.

He stopped in his way and jerked Drishti's hands on his bicep before turning around and walking dangerously towards Romi. Seeing him Romi smirked since he knew it was bound to happen one day.

Drishti got scared seeing him angry but as much as she wanted to get the brothers back together, she decided to not let go of them.

Grabbing Romi's collar he pulled him up harshly and threatened him "This is my last warning for you. If you did any such thing in the future, you'd be regretting your birth"

In anger Romi put his hands on his brother's collar too. When it came to ego or anger none of them was behind the other. The bothers shared a deadly eyelock warning each other of the consequences but they had still not left the collars. The sisters just watched them silently not wanting to intrude because it could possibly hurt them.

Divya got furious at Rakshit's audacity to touch her husband like that while poor Drishti was still chained to the scars of the past. Anger was something Drishti was so afraid of that she prevented getting close to any person who got angry.

"Rakshit lets go" somehow she managed to say that. On getting no response she tried getting their hands off each other and Divya joined her too.

Both the wives tore there husbands apart but couldn't break the eye contact that had been surviving since the start. No words were exchanged. Their wives just took them to their rooms and asked them to rest.

"That bastard! How dare he!" Rakshit threw the glass decorations on the floor. His next victim was the crockery placed on the table that he had his morning tea in. The beautiful China that once laid on the table shattered into pieces in a swift motion. "And I just stood there!"

Drishti stood in a corner of the room holding her head in her hands. Shutting her eyes tight she closed her ears to avoid all thode sounds audible to her ears. Blinded by his anger Rakshit couldn't see his wife in the corner and continued destroying the room like a maniac.

The once beautiful room she had arranged was ruined. Tears brimmed down her face as she watched the remnants of the decorations she had bought so lovingly for their room. Rakshit showed no mercy on the room and continued the damage till he felt like stopping.

"I need water" he said and left the room in a hurry.

Drishti slowly stepped away from the corner and cried seeing the condition of their room. Falling on her knees she picked the broken pieces of the all the things she had decortaed the room with, the lights, the stickers, the stuffed animals and the flowers. Holding a piece of them close to her heart she shed tears of sorrow like the pieces expressed her shattered hopes.

She sobbed watching them and by that time Rakshit had returned with his water bottle. As his eyes scanned the room he noticed his wife sitting on the floor and holding the pieces close to her heart. That was when he realized what he had done.

"Oh no"

He went and kneeles beside Drishti that moment he saw her close to crying and held her shoulders delicately. "Mrs. Shergill?"

"Mr. Shergill these-" she sobbed "I bought these with so much love and" she started crying with her legs tucked under her and avoided looking at Rakshit "You broke them"

Her words pinched his heart. Seeing her in such a state was already enough for him to drown in guilt but the innocence with which she said 'you broke them' yelled how badly he screwed up this time. It meant something important to her and did this.

"Mrs. Shergill I'm sorry" he tried holding her face but she kept pushing him away. "Drishti look at me right now!" She flinched at his words so to avoid making him angry, she looked into his eyes as directed.

"I'm sorry. I totally forgot you were there. I will try holding my anger next time Mrs. Shergill. Just forgive me this time?" He cupped her face and wiped her tears with his thumb.

"No. Last time too you yelled at me without any reason. And this time you broke all these" she sobbed.

"I'm sorry" he held her closer to his chest and pecked her forehead before forcefully throwing away all the pieces in her hands. "Let me just throw these"

And the things went striaght into the dustbin. Drishti cried seeing all that which hurt him more. Finally getting free from the cleaning he oicked her in his arms and placed her on the bed.

He laid beside her and held her hand in his. "You forgive me?"

"No" she wiped her tears making a baby face.

"Ok, how about we go out tomorrow and shop new decorations? I promise we will re decorate the room together"

"Promise?"

"Promise" she smiled at his promise and hugged him.

"Ok I forgive you. But don't repeat it please. I'm scared of people's anger" she told him.

"I will take care" he replied and pulled the blanket over them while letting her lay on him. Caressing her hairs he listened to all the ideas she had in her mind about decorating the room.

"Good night, Mr. Shergill" bringing her lips to his face, she kissed his cheek before settling close to him.

"Good night, Mrs. Shergill" he smiled and slept peacefully.
