Her sobbing didn't stop, even on his continous questions and attempts to make her stop. His grandma and brother saw his anger on getting any response from their side.

"I asked why is she crying?" The warning in his tone wasn't unnoticed by them as he rubbed her back and hairs to calm her down.

"Rakshit" she cried holding his shirt from the shoulders which angered him once again. His wife was crying and nobody was telling him what happened.

"I asked you something, didn't I?" Looking at them once again he asked the same question with a more threatening tone.

"She met Vishal, the producer her mother tried to make her-" Romi stopped before he could complete the sentence but Rakshit didn't understand the situation.

"To make her what?" The tone wasn't a soft one, the harshness that dripped from his mouth made Drishti shiver in fear. She was already stressed and now he was being angry, and she felt scared if someone got angry near her.

That day Vishal had come to offer her a film and in the mean time reminded her of her mother's offer and asked which producer she had to deal with to get break in the film industry.

As easy as it seems, not all film stars get into movies by these stuffs.

Those who have reached their by their own hard work, on hearing such words their hearts too feel pain.

More to that Vishal dared offer her the movie in exchange of that and as he tried making a move she ran away, not knowing that he will try something yet again.

"Rakshit, calm down. You should make her comfortable first. She's been crying for about an hour now. Consoling her without you wasn't easy" dadi said.

As much Rakshit got triggered seeing his wife in that state, he respected his dadi so agreed to her and picked Drishti in his arms.

"I'm taking her to our room. Romi, please get her something Chinese and a belgium choco crunch ice cream" telling Romi what to bring for her, he walked out of dadi's room.

As they reached their room he put her on the bed and sat down on the floor beside her. His knees hurt from the hard floor but all he cared was for his happiness that was her. He had come with the expectation of seeing that same tender smile but the site crashed his heart.

"Hey, Drishti, look at me" cupping her face he wiped her tears with his thumb as she cried holding his arms.

"Mr. Shergill" she whispered

"Its okay, I'm here" a gentle contact of his lips and her forehead made her calm. The sobbing seemed to recede as he ensured her everything was okay and moved her hairs from her forehead by the misty touch of his fingertips.

He didn't want to ask her what had happened, she had just calmed down and if he asked her what happened, maybe she would start crying once again.

Some things hurt deeper than one can ever think.

It was all her hardwork and practice but what Vishal saw was a girl ready to sleep with any man for a role.

That's wasn't true. Yes there are people who have done this but just because of those should one disrespect those who actually struggled to get there?

And when your hardwork remains unnoticed, it hurts like shit. Some might show it while others don't.

But it does hurt.

On the sets of that movie where she met him she stayed strong and didn't let anyone know she was crying inside. And on coming back home, she knew she was safe and could pour all her feelings out.
