The next day marked a sudden change in Divya's behaviour. From being a problematic married woman after what happened yesterday to being silent for most part of the breakfast, Romi felt that she changed.

The change was short lived though, for he could clearly observe his wife gripping the fork harshly every two to three seconds.

Yet she managed to not create a scene over the breakfast.

Same went with Rakshit who was trying his best to not react to Divya since his wife had never been so silent. Drishti Rakshit Shergill, sat quietly, holding the spoon to her lips but not showing any interest in the food.

Her mind was still consumed in pondering over all the false accusations thrown at her by her sister.

If it was the old Drishti, she would have planned a revenge but something in her had changed now.

That something was Rakshit, who turned her soft over the time, so soft that she felt like giving in to the situation when it went overboard for her delicate feelings, knowing that he was there.

The situation with her sister was surely was the reason for her numbness.

From what she saw about Romi and Rakshit, the meeting of who seemed impossible, her heart gave birth to hope that everything between Divya and her would also take a turn.

"Drishti beta, I'm going for a small gathering in the community center. After that I plan on going to my friend's for a couple of days. Since you are free for a few days, why don't you and Rakshit accompany Romi and Divya?" Dadi smiled.

Romi and Divya were to go to Shimla for a business deal and then spend some days there. Taking advantage of the opportunity dadi played her trick and asked the remaining two to accompany them. Since they would deny under the excuse of not leaving dadi alone, she decided to go to her friend's home.

"No we won't" Rakshit said sternly, startling dadi since everything seemed to get on a line.

"But why beta?"

"Drishti and I don't feel like going" he lied, not wanting his beloved to take unnecessary tension of the new rivalary between her granddaughter in laws.

To be true, he did not wish his wife to be anywhere near that lady.

The lady who was the reason behind her lost color.

How hard he tried to make things normal the previous night, a part of her woke up upset and he was quick enough to see it no matter how hard she tried to cover up.

"But Rakshit-"

"Dadi. Mrs. Shergill is not well. Please understand" he rested his hands on the hands of both the women he held dear in his life and just as Drishti felt calmer with his support, she looked at the grieving face of her grandmother.

"Okay" dadi smiled seeing the concern.

"Its not okay" Drishti sighed "we will go dadi"

"Really?" Dadi chirped happily.

"But Mrs. Sher-"

"Its okay" she whispered to him before passing him an assuring smile and signaling him to look at their grandma whose happiness had no bounds. "We don't have to be with them okay?"

That smile of his grandmother was something Rakshit didn't dare to break.

Thus he gave in nodding to his wife.

Their fingers entangled with each other like messed up wires that would never get solved. Smiles on their lips as they knew they were there for each other. Hopes in their heart that the coming life was going to be great.

"Then what are you waiting for? Pack your stuff my naughty children!" As dadi clasped her hands together the four couldn't help but smile.

If this made her that happy then what little cost they were paying for her happiness.

The only concern was Divya, whose behavior was unpredictable.

And yet they left to pack their stuff.

The usual scenario could be seen. With the ease that Romi and Divya packed their stuff with, the same chaos was observerd when Rakshit and Drishti were trying to pack theirs.

"I don't like this. Your choice in clothes sucks you know" Drishti sighed seeing the bunch if clothes Rakshit had picked out.

"Excuse me?" He said.

He thought he was no less than a fashion icon but the delusion was broken by his wife who on seeing his choice of grey jeans and purple shirt with maroon muffler was close to canceling their trip.

"Yup! Siddharth has better taste than you" she smiled, literally forgetting that this was the same name Rakshit hated. As soon as the thought hit her mind she panicked "oops!"

"Its either you getting out dead or me going to jail" Rolling his shirt sleeves, Rakshit stepped towards Drishti who stood panicked.

"But thats the same meaning"

"Exactly" he said "You're dying in both conditions"

"Dadi!!" She yelled as Rakshit started chasing her through the corridors.
