Johnny checks his watch over and over again. He just landed in New York. You would think that he would be admiring the beautiful city. But no, all he could think about is his husband.

Something about the way Jaehyun looked so upset with him wouldn't stop bugging him.

"Who are you sharing your room with?"

Johnny looks to his left to see his coworker from Berlin, "Joey, it's you." He smiles at the woman. Her cheeks turn red with anger, but Johnny can't care less.

"You know how much I want to be with Steven from sweden." She nudged Johnny. "Please don't be a dick this time. Let me room with Steven."

"You asked me, so I chose you. Besides, you can have Steven over at any time. I will be out a lot anyway." Johnny grabs the women's bag. He carried all of his bags and her bags up to their room.

"Thanks, now get out so I can invite Steven up here." Joey smiles. Her red lip stick shined in the light in the room. Her dark brown root and her Carmel skin all accompanied her endless beauty for days. Any man would be lucky to have her.

Johnny is happy he has her as a friend. There's things he wouldn't be able to do, like stay sane while in the same place with his boss.

Johnny nods his head. He heads to the door because he did promise.

"Wait, can I ask you a question?"
Joey fiddles with her clear coated nails. Her eyes flock to the ground as she slowly bounces from side to side. "Why are you always choosing me?"

Johnny knew this was coming sooner or later, better sooner, right? He looks back at the beautiful woman. "Our boss is the reason."

"What do you mean?"

"I can't have my husband around an obsessed little boy in a boss position." With that, Johnny leaves his room. He left the hotel all together.

Sitting down in the car he rented, Johnny pulls out his phone. He knows right about now that it is daytime in Korea.

Johnny whips out his phone and dials his husband's number. It rang for a few moments before he was able to hear that sweet voice he loves so much.

"Happy birthday, my love!" He screeches into the phone following it all up with kisses. "I'm so sorry I had to leave you alone on your birthday, but I will make everything up to you."

Johnny could tell by the way jaehyun exhaled that the younger was very upset with him. "I'm sorry, baby."

Jaehyun smacks his teeth in annoyance, "Why couldn't I go to New York with you? I want to experience things with you."

Johnny nods his head, "I wanted you to come so bad, but my boss isn't the greatest when workers are with their partners." Johnny starts up the car. "Did you get the cake? I had Mark drop it off last night. It was double chocolate, two layers, right?"

Johnny starts up his car and drives as Jaehyun tells him about how he enjoyed his birthday. Johnny was glad to hear that. There isn't any other person he could stomach talking about themselves.

Is it a little weird to say that he is obsessed with his husband. But he is. He would literally kill over jaehyun. "I love you, baby."

"Johnny, I know that. I just wish you were here with me."

Johnny smiles, "I have a camera on you at all times if that makes anything better." He laughs as Jaehyun gasps.

"Are you lying?"

"Yes, I am." No, he isn't. He did put cameras in the house to watch Jaehyun. However, the younger didn't need to know that.

Jaehyun soon hung up with him just as he pulled up to the restaurant. The Italian theme restaurant looks so fancy with its big olive on the front glass.

Johnny parks his car and heads in, the smell of garlic and fresh basil hitting his nose, which makes him so much more hungry.

"Hi Johnny, I'm over here!"

Johnny looked at the man waving him over. "Why is he so embarrassing?" He whispers to himself. He quickened his pace so no one would see that the freakishly cheerful man was talking to him.

"Hi, how are you? Where's your husband?!"

Wow, it didn't take even thirty seconds before his husband was brought up.

A little bit of information on his boss is that, one, the man is married to a powerhouse lawyer. Two, he has three kids, and three, he is so obsessed with jaehyun.

The funny thing about this is that jaehyun and his boss only met for about two minutes one time when their company had an intervention in South Korea. Ever since then, his boss has been trying to get Johnny to bring jaehyun to meet him.

Johnny smiles as he looks at the menu, "Sorry to disappoint you, but he stayed at home because he is a little sick." Johnny smiles in victory as the man huffs out in annoyance.

Many would say that Johnny is blowing everything out of proportion. However, he has insecurities. Some insecurities of his is that he can't spoil jaehyun. Moreover, he feels that he isn't the breadwinner in their relationship, so he doesn't feel suitable for Jaehyun.

His boss is so nice and polished like pearls. His boss could wipe his butt with hundreds every day and still have more to spare.

That's someone who can spoil and treat his king like he should be treated. They can give jaehyun anything. Honestly, to stop him and his baby from parting ways, he will keep his man away from this man in front of him.

"I'm going to fire you if you don't bring him next time." His boss jokes.

Oh, how Johnny wanted to slap him across the face. But he just laughed it off. "We'll see."

In the mix of the chuckles, Johnny's phone rings. "Excuse me, I need to take this." Johnny slid out of the chair. After getting in a private space, he presses the answer icon.

"What's up, Mark?"

"Hey Johnny, I'm sorry, but I was just able to drop off the cake. Hira accidentally got into it, so yuyu and I had to make it even more pretty."

Without thinking, Johnny says, "Cool. While you are there, check on jae." Then Johnny hangs up.

If only he would have thought about what Mark had just said.
