"I'm not Jackson."

Jaehyun swallowed thickly, he couldn't understand what he was feeling but he knew it wasn't good.
His usually ivory skin is now flushed with light pink cheeks. The arms around his waist grow tighter. His mind runs wild.

"Then, who are you?" Jaehyun places his hands on the person's arms. "How did you get into my house?"

"It was Johnny wasn't it? Did he kill Jackson?!"

Jaehyun's eyes widened, his voice so clear. He can't deny that this person wasn't missed by him and even taeyong. "He didn't."

"I don't believe taeyong is capable of committing murder."
With a soft pepper-like voice, the others say. "Taeyongie wouldn't do anything like that. He told me so during the hide and seek game."

Jaehyun removes the arms from around him. He gave the bunny boy a death stare. "Taeyong confessed to it so everything you know is the truth. Shouldn't you be at home with taeil or hanging out with woo? What made you come around these parts this early in the morning?"

Doyoung was the most academically advanced student of his class. Small in stature but he was blessed with a big voice and a caring heart. So for him to sneak into Jaehyun's house at this hour means something is up.

Jaehyun takes a sharp breath. Trying not to show any emotion, Jaehyun forced a frown upon his face. Slowly he turns around to face doyoung. "What makes you think that Johnny would kill his best friend?"

"Easy, Jackson wanted you." Doyoung half smirks at the dumbfounded look open the blonde face. "Think about it Jae, why does everyone who gets close to you ends up moving away or staying away from you?"

"I h..."

"I left because Johnny threatened me!"

Just then the doorknob began to jiggle. Jaehyun momentarily panics because Johnny is home. Doyoung was right in a nutshell, Johnny is very protective. There is a high possibility that Johnny did kill Jackson. But this isn't the problem now. The main Ossie is that there is a black haired, wide eyes, small pink lip scared bunny on the stairs.

"Pool room now. It's straight down the hall to your left."

Doyoung was off in a flash. Soon as the bunny featured mall close the pool door Johnny swings the main door open. Waiting was torture, he couldn't stop biting his lips and messing with his hair. It got so bad that his lips were now swollen and his hair is a complete mess.

Johnny's eyes when they looked at him were full of hurt and secret. What is he hiding?

In the morning Jaehyun quickly and carefully slid out of the bed. He creeps down the stairs and quickly marches down the hallway to the pool room.

"Doyoung where are you?" Jaehyun walks around the pool room, he couldn't find the man.

Just then a bird lands on his shoulder. "Wh...how did..." he slowly looks up to see the skylight open. "Did he get out last night?" Jaehyun walks over to the button to close the skylight and press it.

After watching the window slowly close the blonde makes his way into the kitchen. He quickly whips up a nice big breakfast, bacon, sausage, eggs toast, everything that scream I love you so much!

In the mix of cleaning the tower of dishes he heard ringing. He didn't know if it was his phone or Johnny's, they both have the same ringtone. Jaehyun pulled off the rubber gloves and quietly but hastily ran up the stairs.

Come to find out it was Johnny's phone. Jaehyun grabs it and answers it. "Hello?"

"Hello, who is this?" An almost angelic voice asks.

"I'm Jaehyun, his husband." Jaehyun looks over occasionally at the older everytime he stirs. Jaehyun scoot farther away from the one sleeping. "Do you need something?"

"I need Johnny... I mean I need Johnny to come into work, it's an emergency." The woman's voice seems to waiver. She was stammering over easy words and sentences. "So..sorry.. i..we need him to come it right away if ...possible"

"He is sleeping." With no emotion the blond says. He didn't know why but talking to this woman made his heart clench in anger.
"Call ba..."

"Please he's the only one that can do this. Plus he is leaving us soon. You know his last day is in about a week." The woman let out an over exasperated sigh. "Just... can you let me know when he is waking up at least?"

"Yeah he is waking up now. I will let him know." Jaehyun looked at Johnny who was slowly sitting up.

"Morning, who was that?"

"It was your coworker, her name is Joey." Jaehyun caught the almost gawking eyes, he saw the racing of Johnny's heart, he felt the pleads that he probably wanted her to keep.

"What is it?"

Jaehyun has a feeling deep down in his heart. He tries to act like there's nothing there. Ignoring the other question he asked, "why did you not call and let me know." He sinks down on the bed next to his husband. "Even a text would have been nice."

"Forgive me, I lost track of time. Honestly I got fucked up."

"Johnny, you're hiding something." Jaehyun turns around. "You're hiding someone from me. I know a secret when I see a secret."

Johnny's mouth gawks open. "Are you accusing me of cheating?" The taller questions. "I can't even be with you right now."

Jaehyun had to stomach the sight of Johnny throwing the duvet back and him storming out of their room then him clumping down their stairs.

Jaehyun is now seeing the thing that everyone warned him about. Johnny was trying to gaslight him, but what if he wasn't? What if Jaehyun was an irrational one out of everyone?

"Johnny, wait." Jaehyun goes after him, it was pure acknowledgment for his action. He has learned to admit his wrongs but is this enough?

"No.... what is this?" Johnny stops in his tracks. "Did you really make all of this for me?"

"Well, I wanted to surprise you. You have been working a lot so I..."

"Thank you." Johnny looks back and smiles.

Just then a text pops up on Jaehyun's phone.

Bunny: I left earlier, can't wait to talk to you again. 🥰

Johnny walks into the kitchen. Jaehyun walks in behind him only to see Johnny showing concealed belligerence.
