Johnny steps echo down the narrow hallway. His hair disheveled, his lips swollen, his life over. Tears brim in his eyes. He was weak, so now he must deal with the consequences.

He would never hurt anyone on purpose, especially not the one he cherished most. However, he has partook in the utmost undesirable event of his whole life. He made a mistake, and he cheated.

"Johnny, wait!"

Johnny hated the sound of those red stilettos hitting the pavement behind him. He didn't dare turn around to look at the woman.

"Mistakes happen..."

"I'm married. I don't want to lose him." Johnny looked to the woman with the Caramel skin, "do you know what it would feel like to lose someone so special to you?"

"I know because I'm losing you." The brunette looks up to johnny. "I just want to be your friend, nothing more, at least that's what I keep telling myself." Joey wraps her arms around herself. She thanked the wind for its powerful force to blow her tears away.

Could he do it? Could he really continue to be close with this woman after their wild night? "I will think about it, Joey." Johnny starts his steps again.

"Johnny!" She yells. "I love you. We are..."

"What about Stephen?" Johnny slams his hand on the brick wall."What about my husband? Joey, what about me?" He looks at the woman.

"What about me?!"

"If I lose Jaehyun, I will have nothing left! What about that you do not understand?"

The clouds in the dark sky make the droplet that soon strikes the ground. Johnny looks at the crashing rain.

When he got to his car, he leaned on the side. He felt lightheaded. He couldn't get the way she kissed him off of his mind. Joey grabbed him, she pinched him, and she touched him.

He wanted to be a good friend to her and not hurt her, but after the first kiss, she had made him cheat. He pushed her back, but the guilt still rings. He kissed another woman. He swore on his life that he would never hurt his husband, yet here he is freaking out about how to hide it.

The American pushes his keys into the lock and unlocks his car. After jumping in, he sped off, heading home. Every few moments, he glances at the clock. It was already past three in the morning.

Pulling up to the familiar brick house, Johnny's body is overtaken with pesky butterflies. He slowly pulls into their driveway. So he couldn't be more soaked than he already is. Johnny sprints from the car to the porch. He quickly unlocks the door and steps inside.

As silently as possible, he wiped his feet on the rug and hung up his coat. The brunette frowns deepens as he slowly walks up the steps.

"Where have you been?" At the top of the stairs, Jaehyun stood. His eyes were all red, his lips swollen, his hen disheveled.

Johnny wanted to turn away. But he couldn't get mad, he too cheated. Now they are even. Johnny walks up the steps. Giving it no thought to what he was alluding to, Johnny pats down the messed-up hair. He grabs the bottom of Jaehyun's chin and wipes over his extra pink lips.

Slowly, Johnny raises his gaze to Jaehyun, "Sorry, I had stayed out with a couple of coworkers from my job."

Jaehyun smiles a little. "Ok."

Johnny walks past jaehyun. With a half smile, Johnny pushed his left hand out towards the blonde. "Let's go to bed, shall we?"

When Jaehyun grabs his hand, Johnny can feel the guilt. That stupid kiss. For the first time, Johnny could see the writing on the wall. He wonders if Jaehyun could see it too?

That feeling, that feeling of hope, and that nice nervous feeling, it was that feeling, the feeling that makes someone act crazy. It was that feeling, the feeling that he knew he would die for jaehyun.

As soon as both of their heads hit the pillow, Johnny pulls Jaehyun closer to his chest. "We will get up early, so let's get some rest."

The sun is up in the blue sky. Down below, it shines on Johnny.
Slowly, he opened his eyes.

"Yeah, he is waking up now. I will let him know."

Johnny looks at Jaehyun, who stands across the room. "Morning, who was that?" The American slowly sits up. The brunette pokes out his lips as a splitting headache comes on.

"It was one of your coworkers. Her name is Joey." Jaehyun slowly places Johnny's cellphone on the dresser next to him.

By the way the blonde stood, his arms wrapped around himself, his fingers tapping as if to say he was waiting, then there was the occasional eyebrow lift.

"What's it?" Johnny didn't want to let his husband know he was getting a little too nervous. Johnny tries to hide the fidgeting fingers and his wandering eyes. After all, Jaehyun does know everything about him. Sometimes, Johnny feels as if jaehyun knows more about him than he does himself.

"Why did you not call and let me know?" Jaehyun steps over to the end of the bed. He slowly sinks down, still looking ajar to the petrified American. "Even a text would have been nice."

Shame, shame on Johnny for not caring enough. Was that ghost whisperer, right? Will he really be the cause of their end? Johnny's hand carefully glides to Jaehyun's thigh. "Forgive me, I lost track of time. Honestly I got fucked up."

"Johnny, you're hiding something." Jaehyun turns around. "You're hiding someone from me. I know a secret when I see a secret."

Johnny's mouth gawks open. "Are you accusing me of cheating?" The taller questions. "I can't even be with you right now." Johnny throws the duvet back. He practically sprints out of the bed and leaves Jaehyun's sight.

How could he act like he didn't cheat? How could he gaslight the victim? What is happening to him?

Johnny places a hand over his chest where his heart beats, the pace was rapid. He is fearful of something.
