Nico di Angelo walked down the stairs, the sweatpants were tied as tight as they could be and they still hung low. The t-shirt hung loose on him, falling and revealing his bleached collarbone. The clothes felt soft against his skin, the scent of lemongrass and chamomile— Will’s signature scent overwhelmed him.

“Nico! We should watch a Disney movie!” Reyna said the moment Nico walked downstairs, chucking a pillow at Nico’s head. He shot her a murderous dagger.

“Reyna!” Piper whined, fixing his hair immediately. Nico and Reyna seemed to be having a staring contest, he was trying to figure out if he was serious or not with her large smirk and big eyes.

“I think it’s a good idea,” Will smiled, pushing back the slight tension that overcame the room. He glanced at Will before looking back at Reyna, feeling slightly weird now that Will was looking at him while wearing the taller’s clothes.

   Nico sighed. “Fine.” He said.

“I’ll make popcorn!” Leo said, standing up before Nico stopped him.

“You’re not touching anything in my kitchen, I don’t need to have to clean up the entire feast you would make.” He said, standing up. Leo opened his mouth to rebuttal but quickly closed it. “I’ll make snacks and stuff, while you seven idiots get the pillows  from my room and pick a movie.”

Will stood up. “I can help you.” He said. Nico thought for a moment before nodding, Will followed behind quickly. He heard Reyna, Thalia, and Leo snicker slightly.

“Uh, there should be candy in the freezer,” Nico questioned, unsure of the last time he looked into the fridge.

Nico went to the pantry and saw the popcorn on the top shelf. He realized he hadn’t eaten any popcorn in a long while, the last time was the ‘slumber party’ with his sister, she had placed it on the highest shelf to keep him from eating all of it. Nico got in his tippy-toes and tried to reach, stretching his arm up as far as it could. No luck.

“Need some help with that?” Will asked, laughing slightly as he saw Nico outstretched trying to reach the box.

“Shut up, sunshine,” Nico muttered, looking around for a step-stool.

Will ignored him and came up behind him, reaching above and grabbing the box, placing it in Nico's hand. Nico turned around to say a sarcastic remark only to see that Will was still standing there, slightly towering over him, his hand still on the popcorn box, if Will stumbled even slightly he would have Nico pinned against the pantry. Nico noticed the way he had to tilt his chin down to look him in the eyes, his blonde hair perfectly framing his face, his orange shirt that had ‘HBHS’ on it, that seemed a size too small as it rose above his stomach slightly, revealing his v-line. Nico was afraid that if he looked farther down he would fixate on something that he shouldn’t be. Instead,  Nico looked him in the eyes, trying to hide the blush from his face.

“Dio, io amo gli uomini.” Nico said, reaching his hand up and grabbing the box from Will’s hand.

(Gods, i love men.)

“I have no idea what that means.” Will said, “You should teach me Italian.” Will walked back toward the fridge, leaving Nico by the pantry with blush dusted across his cheeks, holding a box of popcorn.

“Yeah–yeah, maybe one day,” Nico said, staring at him for a moment before rapidly blinking and making himself aware of his existence.

Out of all the movies they could have chosen, out of the selection they had, they chose the most cheesy, but sad movie. Luca. The living room smelled of buttered popcorn and a variety of cookies. The room was dark, only being illuminated by the TV.
