3rd Person POV
Thena sat in class staring at the odd scars on her arms and running her thumb over them repeatedly, she hated herself for telling them. She hated it all, she only told them so monkey man wouldn't but that didn't mean he wouldn't tell the whole school.
She sat in her classes for the rest of the day feeling guilty and weird about what she told him. When she went home, she was met with her mom and dad standing there
"you haven't been home lately" her father said and she snapped her head up to him
"I know and I'm sorry but school is getting harder dad" she tried to reading and he shook his head scoffing at her words
"you really think we wouldn't find out about your grades slipping? What's going on thena may?" He asked saying her middle name and she drew in a breathe
"nothing , I would tell you if something is wrong" she said and her mother nodded
"you better , now go do your homework" her mother said and thena nodded gratefully at her mother as she walked into her room and locked the door doing her homework
only then 20 minutes later, she got a call from Hailey and rowan and she grumbled as she answered it
"grotto now" was all they said and the call ended. Thena made sure her door was locked and she put her shoes and jacket as she crawled out of her window and down the ladder, she walked to the grotto and was met with police cars and lights
"what the hell?" She whispered and then she was grabbed by hailey as they ducked under a wall
" Shit it's my dad" rowan said as they kneeled down and thena rubbed haileys back
" Monkey man was there guys. I'm not kidding, he was standing right above me and then I started screaming and then these dudes came over and I ran off when they weren't looking" Hailey ranted and thena rubbed her back
"did the cops see you?" Rowan asked
"hailey are you okay?" Thena asked and hailey shook her head
" I got a message and it said your turn do you think he's going to kidnap me?" Hailey asked and that's when ash arrived
" What the hell is going on down there?" He asked and they all stood up
" It's that girl raven they found her body" rowan said and thena looked around
"Damn. Here these will help" ash said as he held out drugs to Hailey and thena scoffed
