It would be ages since the next bus will come, so Kyung-mi decided to walk to her home on her own. She would always stop by this very nice old lady's shop to pick up meat. When the lady saw Kyung-mi all happy and humming, she asked, "And why are you so happy, you finally got yourself a boyfriend?" Kyung-mi chuckled, "You sound like my mom. No, I didn't get a boyfriend, I'm happy because I made money today!" The lady stopped what she was doing and looked at Kyung-mi. "Kyung-mi, did you steal again?" "No I didn't steal, that was such a long time ago. I earned this money fair and square." The lady noticed a huge red mark on her face and mentioned, "What happened to your face, do you get into fights now?" Kyung-mi shrugged it off

"No I didn't get into a fight, plus, I'm too weak anyway." She turned around and saw a picture of the lady with her son. "I wonder what Sang-woo is up to now. How's he doing at work?" The lady smiled. "He's always busy. He's abroad right now on a business trip." "I hope he's doing well, tell him to call me when he comes home, I wanna hear all the things he saw abroad!" The lady bagged up the fish she cut up and walked to Kyung-mi. "I'll make sure I will, take this and go home." Kyung-mi grabbed the bag and handed the lady money and went on her way.

When she got hom, her mom cooked dinner and when the food was on the table, Kyung-mi sat down and gave the money she won to her mom who had a shocked look on her face. "Take it." Kyung-mi placed the money on her mom's hand and began to eat. "Goodness, did you steal again?" "I didn't." Kyung-mi's mom tilted her head. "Then, what happened to your face?" "Don't worry about it, I just ran into something." Her mom just gave a small smile.

"Now that we have this month's rent, now we'll have to worry about the money you owe the bank." Kyung-mi stopped eating and looked up at her mom. "It's alright, they can wait." Her mom gave her the same worried expression. "No we can't wait, we have to give at least one fifth of the money in 4 months. There's no way we can pay it off, unless you do the same thing you did today to get that money." Kyung-mi didn't say anything and continued eating.

As she tossed and turned on her bed, she still couldn't sleep. She was nervous about how she would get the same amount of money the next day and the day after until the due date. Then Kyung-mi remembered the card the businessman gave to her. She looked it out and dialed the number on her phone. "Hello." "I'm the girl who got your business card this afternoon." "Do you wish to participate in the game? If you wish to participate, please state your name and birthdate" After she gave it to him, he gave her a location for her to wait at for a vehicle to pick her up. Kyung-mi immediately got up, got dressed, and went to the location he sent to her.

As she waits on the sidewalk, Kyung-mi keeps mumbling to herself ,"When are they going to be here yet, it's freaking cold out." Kyung-mi noticed car lights beaming towards her and a white van pulled up in front of her. The window slid down revealing a guy in a pink jumpsuit and a mask. "Miss. Kim Kyung-mi?" "Yes..." "The password?" Kyung-mi stood there for a second trying to remember the password she was given. "Uh, red light, green light."

The man didn't say anything, he just opened the car door and Kyung-mi went inside to see other people in there, sleeping. "Man, everyone must be tired. How long will it take to get to the game venue?" But as she was saying that, gas started settling in the van making Kyung-mi pass out. The Driver had a gas mask on and he checked to see if Kyung-mi was asleep. Once he confirmed it is, he opened the windows to let all the gas out and continued driving.
