Kyung-mi can see bright lights hitting her face as she grows consciousness. She looked around to see other people also started to grow consciousness. As everyone started to get up from their beds, music began to sing throughout the room. Everyone was trying to make sense of the whole thing, but as everyone was looking around, no one knew that they were being watched.

Up in the security room, many men in the same pink jumpsuits sit in front of screens watching the players. As they were doing that, a man unlike the other men, dressed in all black with a black humanoid mask walked in through the doors and checked the players as they woke up and started walking around. As he scanned through the room, one player caught his eye. He asked the bosses to get information on the player and give it to him. They obeyed without question.

Once Kyung-mi got out of bed, she started walking towards the middle of the room. That's what everyone else was doing, so she felt the need to follow. "Fifty, fifty-two...fifty-five, fifty-six..." Kyung-mi heard an old man counting the players and she walked towards him out of curiosity. "Sir, what are you doing?" The old man immediately replied, "Don't talk to me. You're distracting me. Fifty...what was it?" Kyung-mi didn't know how to respond to that, so she looked around the room. "Are you counting the number of people?" "Yes, so stop talking to me. And then...what...wait, where was I?" Kyung-mi stared at him for a moment before pointing at the large Tv right above the small stage. "Sir, look over there. There are 456 people here." After she said that, Kyung-mi looked at the old man's jacket to reveal a number 1. "Wait, you were the first to get here. And I'm...what?" Kyung-mi looked down at her jacket to reveal number 456. "Heh, I'm last." The old man let out a grunt. "I know that too. I'm just counting the numbers, my doctor said counting numbers is good for preventing dementia."

Kyung-mi couldn't help but feel sorry for the old man. "Why did you come here when you're old enough to worry about dementia? You should be eating meals your daughter-in-law makes for you, then lying down on the warm floor watching your grandkids acting cute." Without hesitation, the old man responded, "What about your parents? Do they get to eat fresh-cooked meals their son-in-law makes for them?" Kyung-mi stayed silent. "You see, my days are numbered. My doctor said there's a lump in my head." "A lump?" "Brain tumor."

The old man let out a small chuckle while Kyung-mi just looked at him, feeling bad. "You bitch!" A man yelled as he hit someone to the ground. Kyung-mi and the old man looked to see what the commotion was but everyone already started a circle around them. Inside the circle, a young lady was on the ground with blood running down her mouth and an older man circling around her laughing. "Hey! Geez, I can't believe I've run into you here." The young lady slowly stood up and stared at the man, not saying a thing. "Look at those eyes, your temper hasn't changed." The man continued to walk closer to the woman. "Then again, you're not the type to back down after a few blows." She still hasn't said a thing. "I fed you, put a roof over your head, even taught you my skills, but you backstab me?" Then the young woman finally spoke, "You already took more from me than what I owe you." "If that's true, why did you run away?"
