The sun shining through Malaya's window , causes her to wake up and see Jayvon laying on her chest asleep with his arms wrapped around her waist for comfort.
She doesn't remember falling asleep last night? but she does remember holding Jayvon for hours , ensuring him that when they woke up in the morning all the hurt that Von caused him the day before would be gone .
Jayvon really wanted to believe her positive words, but the only thing he could think about was the fact that when he woke up , Von will still be upstairs, in his apartment, with a sly smirk on his face because he has the upper hand . Jayvons cheek will still be bruised , and his trauma will still be present . So even if he tried to forget the altercation and let it go , it wouldn't change anything else .
Malaya didn't necessarily tell him he could sleep over , but he did and she didn't care . If Herb would've busted in the room then she could just explain the situation especially since all they did was cry and sleep . The sleepover was strictly for emotional support and Malaya loved that she was his first call for an outlet .
After a few minutes of Malaya adjusting her eyes , still entangled in jayvons grip , a low volume alarm starts to go off making the entire bed vibrate .
She hears him groan before removing one of his arms from under her and reaches in his pocket, retrieving his phone .
He shuts the alarm off and raises off of her body to do a long stretch , swiping his hand across his face .
She watches him until he looks down at her , grateful to wake up to her warm welcoming smile .
He didn't expect to be able to even sleep with her for the entire night , but the fact that she took the risk for him , let's him know how sincere she is throughout the whole situation. She's the first person he's cried to , and found comfort in other than himself and instead of making him feel bad or weak about it she made him feel ... better .
"Good morning " she mumbles as he gets off the bed "there's extra toothbrushes and a few underclothes in the bathroom if you want it " she informs him only making him happier that he woke up in her presences
"Goodmorning " he glances at her with a small grin .
"How you feeling ?" She asks him noticing his jovial mood coming back .
