After what felt like almost an hour in vons car, they finally arrive on a busy street in uptown chicago , filled with tourist and locals enjoying lunch, live music, and the scenery.
Malaya doesnt remember much about the city she once called home, therefore she's doesnt remember ever seeing a place like this. where wealthy older people hang out and spend most of their retirmnt money on homes or restaurants .
she starts to wonder what von is even doing up here since he doesnt exactly fit the descripton of anything she just said. He must be lost.
about five minutes into driving around this foreign part of the city, von eventually stops in front of large secluded building that almost looks like a personal condo. shes confused at first and just assumes hes stoping to look up directions until he turns the car off and looks over at her.
"cmon" he nods opening his door before stepping out and leading her to the front of the buiding.
He pulls out a key and unlocks the door revealing a immense two story, fully furnished home, clearly decorated by a professional designer with modern day antiques placed inside , and the floors are so clean you can see your reflection through it. It almost looks like a rich man's bachelor pad
"wow " malaya gasp
"nice right?" von smirks
"beautiful" she nods still in awe
von turns around to look at her and furrows his eyebrows "well arent you going to come in?"he questions and she frowns
"im not breaking and entering into someones house"she says causing him to smack his lips and yank her by her arm to pull her inside the house before placing her back against his chest so they can gaze around with each other .
he holds her by the waist, buring his chin in her shoulder blade, making sure to hold her closely.
She doesnt know this but he's honestly trying to get a fill for somone else being in this condo besides himself. He doesn't know malaya that well to be thinking about future plans with her , but it wouldnt hurt to know if shes a good fit or not. Especially since snow and jaide were definitely not what he was looking for .
