The Journey Continues

"1916...World War 1?!"

While Ame was hiding behind the boulder, the sound of guns and explosions filled the entire area.

"Of all things, you sent me to a fucking war!!?" Ame yelled out of frustration.

Soon, some people took notice of Amelia and pointed their gun at her.

"N-no don't shoot! Don't shoot!" Ame said as raised her hands up.

"What the heck is a civilian like you doin' here!" The soldier yelled

"I-i don't know" Although Ame was scared. She was also relieved that they spoke english.

The soldier clicked his tounge and gave Ame an annoyed look.

"Come with us" the soldier said

"O-okay"

"Men! Cover us!" The soldier shouted.

"Yes sir!"

The soldier quickly escorted Ame in a nearby trench. Luckily they made it there without a scratch. They made their way further into the trench until they reached a small bunker. The soldier knocked on the bunker's door, another soldier came to greet us.

"Captain?" The soldier looked confused

"Who's the girl?" The soldier asked

"I found her in the middle of the battlefield hiding behind a stone. She says she doesn't know how she ended up there. I have to get back out there quick, stay here and keep watch of her" The captain said

"Yes Sir!"

The captain then turned his attention towards me.

"Here, stay here for a while until the battle dies down a little" The soldier said

"Ah T-thank you" Ame replied

'Shit, how do I get out of this mess' Ame thought.

"What were you doing out there?" The soldier asked

"I don't know, the only thing I remember was suddenly being here" Ame lied as easily as she breathed.

"Well if your not gonna tell me then i'm sorry, But I have to do this." The soldier said as he pointed the gun at ame.

"What do you mean?!" Ame asked

"I'm sorry but, until were clear of who or how you came here, were gonna have to put you in prison" the soldier said

Ame didn't retaliate any further and went ahead with the soldier.

"Alright, fine"

"Thank you for understanding" the soldier led ame to the prison behind one of the rooms.

On the way there Ame asked for that persons name.

"My name?, It's Lewis"

Ame went inside the prison and lewis left. After the soldier left, Ame sat at the bed thinking about what to do.

"Well this is fine as well, I only need to wait for a day to pass and I can leave again"

10 Hours passed

The sound of explosions could still be heard from outside. The door to the prison opened and Lewis came running at Ame's cell.

"We need to get you out of here" Lewis said as he scrambled to find the keys.

"Wait, what's happening?" Ame asked

"Were being pushed back, the enemies are closing in on us, they'll be here soon. Got it!" Lewis opened the cell.
