"Her soul..It's not here.."

"!"

"Then where is it?!" Ame took hold of Ina

"I-i don't know, I'm sorry" Ina stuttered

"Why?..why does this have to happen.." Amelia cried

Bae took Gura and Ina to their HQ. After Amelia had calmed down, she started to explain what happened in the dimension.

From when they got there, to how they found the tower and Ina, and the deal she made with Cthulhu.

"Ina.." Ame looked at Ina who said nothing.

"I understand why you did it Ame, so don't worry too much alright?" Ina smiled

Seeing Ina's smile only raised Ame's guilt. Bae suggested that they stayed at their HQ for the time being but Ame refused and said she had to go somewhere.

Bae knew of Ame's unstable mental state and didn't say anything else.

After saying her farewells, Ame left for Earth.

"Oh your back already?" Emilia said

"Hm? Where's Gura?" Emilia asked

Ame ignored her and continued walking.

"Ame? Hey Ame" Emilia called out to Amelia but she just ignored her

"Ame! What happened there?! Why aren't you answering me?!" Emilia was frustrated and raised her voice

Ame continued to ignore Emilia and went into her room. She closed the door and locked it from the inside.

*Bang*bang* Emilia smashed her fist on the door

"Ame please! Open the door and talk to me!"

"Shut up! Just! Leave! Me! Alone!"

Emilia never heard Ame's voice sound like that. She could tell from her voice alone that she was in pain.

Emilia wanted to open the door with her card to console her but she didn't know if doing it right now would be a good idea.

In the end, she wanted to let Ame cool off for a bit and left her alone.

Ame sat down on the edge of her bed and stared at the floor with a blank expression.

She looked over to her desk and saw a picture of her and Gura together.

Ame felt bitter, she bit her lip and clenched her fist.

"What have I been doing?!" Ame asked herself

"I though I got stronger after surviving all this time but i'm still!-" Ame kept blaming herself, she was angered by the fact that she couldn't do anything when the time she was needed came.

She couldn't help but release her anger so she started destroying her room.

With a tearful face, She destroyed everything she could see. After everything was destroyed, there was nothing left for her to do but scream.

"I'm useless, wouldn't it have been better if I just died that night with my dad" Ame laid down on the floor with her arm on her face and cried.

When her crying stopped, she heard the door opened along with the sound of footsteps.

She didn't need to look to know who it was. Emilia went to Ame, she didn't say anything and just held her in her arms. Amelia didn't try to push her away and instead embraced Emilia.

The two of them stayed there together all day. Ame explained what happened to them. Emilia listened to her whole story with a complicated expression.

"I..don't know what to do anymore.." Ame said with a dejected expression

"Ame, you know that it wasn't your fault right?"

"How can it not be?! I was too weak! If I was Faster, Stronger or Smarter-"

"Then what? From what you told me, even if you were as strong as a god, you would still lose" Emilia said

"I.." Ame felt bitter as she knew that Emilia was right.

She knew that even if she were as powerful as Kronii, it still wouldn't have been enough.

"Ame, don't blame yourself too much, your not a god, your a human"

"If being a god is what it takes to save Gura, then.. I'm gonna do whatever it takes to become one" Ame said as she walked out of the room

Emilia bit her lip and shouted"Why?! Why are you going so far for someone you barely know?!"

"..You wouldn't Understand"

"Is it about the blank check?!"

When Amelia heard that, she immediately turned her head towards Emilia.

"How do you-"

"Yagoo told me, he told me that if you gather all 4 of the Girls, You'll be given a blank check. He asked me to help you in finding them.

"Is that check really that Important to you?!" Emilia shouted

"It's not about that anymore! Gura! Ina! Those girls have suffered way more than anyone I know!"

"They've been scarred ever since they were a child but even then, they didn't turn into someone evil and strive to become a better person"

"I might've only spent a month with Gura but It felt like I was with her for years. Every time she laughs I feel an intense joy from my chest. Her little antics and her positive attitude bring so much color in my life that I didn't know how I lived for so long without her"

"When I saw her lying on the floor with a hole on her chest, it felt like my world was crumbling down. I felt that it would've been better if I was the one laying on the ground and not her"

"I know it doesn't make sense, it's not logical to feel this affectionate about someone you barely know. But...I have this feeling that we've met before"

"The same goes for Ina, I only just met her yet I feel the same way about her as Gura"

"I may have started this journey for the money, but after meeting Gura and Ina, I've made it my goal to find all the Girls and be friends with them"

"I know It's cheesy and cliché but..this is how I feel"

Emilia was left speechless

"*Sigh* I don't know why I'm telling you this..." Amelia left the room

Emilia stayed in the room clenching her fist.

While walking down the living room Ame started to gather her thoughts.

'Gura...If her soul is gone, then I just need to find it'

'The place where a soul would be is the afterlife or hell so....Calli'

'I have to find The Death's Apprentice'

' "How" is the problem...do I really need to kill myself?' Ame thought

'No, let's leave that as the last option'

'Then...Kiara, A phoenix, an existence that burns themselves to die and rise again from their ashes'

'If there's anyone who know how to get to the underworld, It's her'

Ame decided to make Kiara, The Immortal Phoenix, her next target. But there was still one thing left that bothered Ame.

'Yagoo... I already knew of the fact that he and Emilia had met thanks to the book but, He asked Emilia to help me find the Girls? Why? What does he need them for that he even went out of his way to go to another dimension just to ask someone to help me?'

'He said he needed them for his idol agency but am I supposed to believe that?'

What is he? How Is he able to travel dimension freely? And how did he know about the girls in the first place?

The questions Ame had only piled up, she thought about asking Emilia but she didn't want Yagoo to be suspicious of her.

'Yagoo, Nyarlathotep, be it humans or Gods, whoever stands in my way, I'll bring them all down'....
