Cthulhu! I've Come to Bargain!

"Ina?!" Ame got startled and immediately closed the book.

"?" Ina gazed at the book

"That book..."

"Ah this? I just felt like reading something you know? Haha" Ame laughed nervously

Ina saw the title A Forgotten Past and gave a forlorn smile.

"It's been a while since I've read that book" Ina said

"!?"

"It's the first book I read when I came into this place"

"..so do you know what's in here?" Ame asked

"No haha, it's been so long since I last read it, of course I wouldn't remember" Ina smiled

"But..I can't help but feel an uncomfortable feeling in my chest when I see that title..." Ina frowned

"Do you wanna try reading it?"

Ina hesitated but took up Ame's offer. Ina then started reading the book. She learned about the Universe and Cthulhu's past and how the reign of Gods ended.

Then she started to read about the oast she had long forgotten. It was the time she first met Cthulhu. The contents of the book was anything but good.

Ame had a shock looked on her face while Ina stayed completely calm. They got to the point where Ina traveled around to find a place where she can belong.

Little by little, Ina's memories came back to her. Ina tried desperately to keep her composure. But when it came to the part about her friend, she broke down.

The book described her friend as a girl with clear blue eyes and a golden hair. The image of Her flashed through Ina's mind. She felt a tight feeling in her chest. As she read more and more, the more images popped up in her head and the feeling on her chest only tightened.

When she read about her friend dying, tears swelled up from her eyes and she let out a painful cry. She couldn't understand why, She doesn't remember her friend's name, her face or anything else, all she could remember was her beautiful golden hair, he smile and the time they spent together.

Ina dropped the book as she sobbed on her knees. Ame couldn't help but hug Ina as she cried out.

"*Sob* I'm *hic* Sorry about this" Ina said

"It's fine..just take it easy" Ame comforted Ina

"I'm really sorry for showing you an unsightly side of me" Ina said

"No it's fine, actually I'm glad"

"Eh?"

"You crying like this, makes you feel like a person" Ame smiled

Ina smiled back

"Aghh" Ina groaned as she grabbed her head

"Ina? Hey, what's wrong?" Ame asked out of concern

"Aghh! Ame! Stay! away! From ME!" Ina shouted

"Ah! I finally found you!. Ehh? Ame?"

"Gura!" Ame shouted

"Huh? What's going on? Wait, isn't that Ina? What's happening with her?"

"I'll explain it later, for now get ready"

"Get ready for what?!"

"To fight. Cthulhu's coming" Ame remembered the parts of the book where Cthulhu overtook her body and took out her gun.

Gura was still confused but still took out her spear.

Ina continued to scream as her body turned black and her eyes glowed white.
