"Oh how rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Ninomae Ina'nis" The girl said
When Ame heard that name, she fell frozen in place.
"The priestess.." Ame murmured
"What was that?" Ina asked
"Uhh haha nothing I was just surpised by your name" Ame replied nervously
"Anyway you said were in the tower, but what exactly is this place?" Ame asked as she looked at the countless books surrounding them.
"Hmm i'm not that sure either, I came here a very long time ago and stumbled upon this tower. What I do know is that this tower has endless books. I've spent a long time here just reading and yet I don't feel like I'm close to finishing at all" Ina said
"What was in the books?" Ame asked
"Hmm there most of them were stories or events that happened in different worlds, I don't know wether they happened or not but I have feeling they are"
"Why do you say that?"
"Because your here" Ina smiled
"Me?"
"Yes, remember what I called you?"
"Sherlock Holmes? So you found out about sherlock holmes from here?" Ame asked
"Yes" Ina replied
Silence fell when Ame ran out of questions to ask. All they could hear was Gura giggling in the background.
"*Giggle* Your friend is very carefree isn't she"
"Yeah but... After all she's been through, I just want her to keep smiling" Ame said as she looked at Gura happily playing with the blobs
While looking at them, Ame remembered something.
"That's right I almost forgot to ask" Ame said
"?"
"What're those purple blobs?" Ame asked
"Oh I forgot as well, Thank you for taking care of my little one while he was out" Ina said
"Those guys huh, hmmm how should I explain them... Well let's just go with this. After spending god knows how long in here, I started to lose my sanity" Ina giggled
"In order to keep my sanity, I created these beings, I call them my 'Takodachis or Tako". I got the name from the word 'Tomodachi' which means friends in Japanese because I made them with the memories of my...old friend..." Ina wore a smile throughout the whole story but she couldn't help but lose at the end.
Ane didn't know the whole life story of Ina but she could atleast find out that it probably wasn't a good one.
"Haha, sorry for spoiling the mood" Ina giggled
"Anyway what were you guys doing here?" Ina asked
The sudden question made Ame remember her mission
"About that..." Ame said hesitantly
"?"
"Do you know of a being called Cthulhu"
Suddenly hearing about Cthulhu surprised Ina. Her mental barrier weakened for a moment and she felt a sharp pain on her head. She knew it was Cthulhu trying to break through.
"Ugh!" Ina groaned
"Are you ok?" Ame reached out to Ame out of concern
"I'm ok i'm ok, I just..need to rest for a bit" Ina then walked away from Ame.
