Chapter twelve

Novas POV

I woke up slowly but I was too Comfy to move. I felt safe and warm and I've never felt this warm feeling before so I just snuggled into my pillow more and closed my eyes again.

Scarlett's POV

During the night I felt nova move closer to me. She practically laid upon me and I smiled to myself. She's definitely asleep right now but I was too sleepy to move her. Also why would I? I got my little girl cuddling into me so I'm gonna take advantage. I smiled as she smiled in her sleep. I think she's the most precious thing I've ever seen. I drifted off again. But I felt her shift at some point but she nuzzled her face into my neck and and I smiled. Okay novie cuddles are something I never wanna miss. If I get this opportunity of cuddles again I'm
Taking it in a heart beat. I had my hands now protectively around her. I wanted her close and I was going to keep her close to me. I didn't wanna let go. Not after I'd lost her the last time I fell asleep. Obviously that wasn't going to happen but I still wanna protect my baby. It's my first night with my little girl. The last time I closed my eyes she was gone. I never got to cuddle her so yeh why not make up for lost time.

Novas POV

I started to wake up again and I let out a sigh of comfort. I hadn't slept that good since we'll ever. I don't usually sleep well. I actually wake up a lot during nights but tonight I barely woke up once. That didn't really count because I didn't move.

I opened my eyes slowly and then I realised what my pillow was. I jumped up and fell out of the bed.I fell down of the bed taking the blanket with me and Scarlett jumped up. " nova! Omg are you okay?" And I looked up at her and nodded " just peachy" I groaned and then the door opened and I heard hurried footsteps " we heard a bang what's wrong? Where's nova?" And Scarlett was trying to hard not to laugh " down there" she pointed and I saw two heads make there way over the bed. " laugh and I'll kill you both" I said and they nodded but when I saw there heads disappear I heard laughing. " okay get out" Scarlett said but I could hear she was laughing too. I just groaned and turned on the floor. " nova come on get up" and I shook my head I had the blanket covering my face this was so embarrassing. Not only was I laying on top of her but I wake up and fall out of bed with the blanket. Wow she's gonna think I'm insane. " novalie" she laughed and I moved the blanket from my face and pouted which made her stop and she cooed " oh peach it's okay come here" and I managed to get up but I groaned my ass hurt. I got back in bed and out the blanket back but I kept my distance from Scarlett " sorry" and she smirked " what part" and I glared at her " you don't have to say sorry. I  didn't think I'd favour my kids but you're cuddles are making me re think that" and I shook my head I was blushing I felt so warm. " we still don't know that" and she groaned " you're not gonna stop that are you" and I shook my head. I had taken my contacts out last night and I don't have any spare with me so I got out of bed and grabbed my glasses. " okay you wear glasses?" And I nodded " so not only do you look so much like
Me right now but you got my crap eye sight too" and I swear she looked so happy
About something so dumb. " awww look at you" she cooed and i scrunched my face which didn't help. I can't take compliments so I just turned away " yeh yeh I'm blind let's go" I dismissed her and walked out of the room.

Scarlett's POV

She stood in front of me right now and I swear she's the most adorable little thing. Her glasses are big round ones and they suit her face. Which now I can see just how much she looks like me. She has the same shape of glasses as me too. Which now I can see definitely work well.

I got out of bed after she left the room and followed her downstairs. " aww look you're both blind" Chris said pointing and laughing and I glared at him. She's having a hard time adjusting and him making a joke is gonna make her go ten steps back. " yeh shut up" she said walking out of the room. I watched her go and hit Chris. " you idiot." Lizzie laughed but I had to go after nova. I went in the direction she went and I saw the back door open. I followed it out and I saw her sat there. It's a nice day today. " hey peach" I said so she'd know I was coming. She looked at me and nodded " whats up?" And she sighed like I actually heard it " I'm sorry about the sleeping on top of you. And I'm sorry I've made you move you're plans. I mean you probably miss you're kids and you're here with me" and I sat down next to her and moved her face so she could look at me " nova I'll keep telling you this as much as you need to hear it. You are important to me. Last night the cuddles I really loved them okay. I'd move my schedule for any of my kids" and I saw her mouth move so I spoke again " don't. And as for rose and cosmo I miss them yes. But I've missed having you for 15 years peach. It never gets easier not being around them but knowing that I'm gonna have all three of my kids back that bring me more joy then I can tell you" I saw that inner fight. I saw her eyes soften but then I saw them go back to normal. You can't win  a war over night. " I erm need my stuff. Dunno how long I can go without my blanket" and I smiled " blanket?" And she nodded " it's my baby blanket. It's a hospital one it has the name of the hospital on the tag. It's worn out now but I usually can't sleep without it. It's a comfort thing keeps me safe no matter what there doing or saying to Me" and that's what caught my attention . She said what they were doing  and saying. She hasn't realised what she said. Or she'd be back tracking I know. " you slept without it yesterday" I said to her and she gave me a soft smile I saw her cheeks turn pink which made me more curious " erm I think having you next to me is why. I felt that same safe that I do with my blanket. It's stupid" I just shook my head and held her hand " no peach it's sweet." She nodded buts he wasn't looking at me. So I just looked at the view with her.
