After the party Neveah ended up getting grounded and being on house arrest by her father. She snuck out a few times to go hangout with Rue and occasionally hit up Ashtray to chill but nothing too serious, just smoke buddies.
She couldn't quite figure him out, and he couldn't figure her out either. To Neveah, Ashtray was a cold hearted guy that didn't give a shit about anyone beside his brother, and had no time to deal with anyones bs or emotions. But, to Ashtray, Neveah was weird. He didn't like the fact that she had an opinion about everything and always had to have the last word, not bowing down to him. He kinda like the fact that she didn't fold for him immediately, like he was use to.
Neveah sat on the edge of her bed, filing her nails bored out of her mind, waiting for the night to come. It was pouring rain outside and she had nothing to do.
"V?" William knocked on her bedroom door, "Yes?" she muttered and looked up at her door as her father slowly opened it, taking a step inside.
"I know you're mad at me, but i'll be gone tonight and tomorrow in the day time, so i'm giving you, your phone back incase of an emergency. I'm trusting you to be responsible and still follow my rules while i'm gone. If you do then you'll be ungrounded when I get back." William looked at Neveah and tossed her, her phone.
Neveah caught her phone with both hands quickly as it almost hit her face, "Okay, where are you going and why are you leaving?"
"As you know my ex girlfriend Mariah lives a few hours away. Well she invited me to come help her move furniture to her new house." William explained.
"Why the hell would you wanna help your ex girlfriend that fucked your ex bestfriend?" Neveah frowned at her father, "Hey. Language please." he scolded, Neveah put her arms up in surrender.
"I love you baby girl, please make decent choices at least and call me if you need anything, i'll come in a flash if anyone fucks with you, I mean it." William walked over to Neveah's bed.
"I know, I know." She groaned and looked up at her father, sitting up, "I love you too." she wrapped her arms around him.
William hugged her back, and planted a kiss on his daughters forehead before walking out of her bedroom, closing the door behind him.
Neveah smiled and plugged her phone in, impatiently waiting for it to power on. Once her phone turned on she quickly texted Rue.

Neveah turned her phone off leaving it to charge, and got up walking towards her closet. She grabbed out a solid black Nike hoodie, and some grey Nike sweats to match. She then put it on.
She walked over to her Vanity and started to apply some Mascara, trying to fix herself up a bit.
Neveah opened one of her drawers on her dresser, pulling out a pair of socks. She sat on the edge of her bed putting her socks on her feet before she slipped on her white air force ones.
A few minutes after Neveah got ready her phone went off and she quickly made her way outside leaving her phone in her bedroom.
