It was the night of Maddy's birthday, and Neveah was more than excited for her friend. She and Maddy had planned for the party weeks in advance. The night of the party Maddy and Neveah decorated the howard's residence with, ballon's, ribbons, and anything decorative/over the top you could think of.
Neveah sat at the table along with the rest of her friends as Maddy stood in front of everyone opening up her gifts.
She opened up Cassies, and looked through it, smiling really big. She admired the work of art that her best friend had made for her. It was a book filled with glitter and pictures of the two of them together.
Maddy closed the book as a tear fell down her cheek, she glanced up and gave Cassie a light smile. Cassie smiled back and got up, hugging her best friend.
Neveah watched in awe and began to miss her best friend. She and Rue had fallen off, and hadn't spoken since the new years party.
Nothing bad happened between them, it was just they both had their own things going on and just never contacted each other.
Once Maddy finished opening all of her gifts, the girls made their ways to the stair case and they all sat posing for the camera. Suze took lots of photos of the girls.
When Suze finished up with the pictures the girls all got up and went their own ways.
Neveah was sat in the living on the couch beside Lexi, "So how's your play going?"
"Really good actually. I'm excited for it, but i'm kinda nervous how everyone's going to take it." Lexi honestly admitted.
"Why's that?" Neveah lightly frowned.
"Well, it's sorta based on my life and everyone in my life too. It includes the good, the bad, everything." Lexi shrugged.
"Oh.. Well it is just a play and everyone's going to take it differently regardless of what your intentions are, so I say fuck it and just go out with a bang." Neveah encouraged, causing Lexi to giggle at her.
"Yeah well I hope it does." Lexi continued to giggle, "But any ways how are you doing?"
"I'm okay I guess, still sad about Ash breaking up with me but I've got over it. My mom's back and I have a sister now." Neveah nonchalantly stated, Lexi widened her eyes as she frowned her eye brows.
"Wait what! First off how's things with your mom?! Secondly what's up with this secret sister?!" Lexi became very interested.
"Well uh I haven't spoken to my mom in weeks, even though we live in the same house. But my little sister her names Nareya and she's six. I've been hanging out with her a lot recently, trying to form some what of a bond ya know." Neveah explained to Lexi who nodded her head.
"I think that's really great that you have a sister. Even though she's so much younger it's still cool to have someone that's pure and you can always rely on." Lexi smiled at her friend.
"Yeah that is true.. Speaking of sisters how's yours?" Neveah hesitantly asked Lexi.
"Oh, she going insane. Being single is really hard on her. She's having her down fall right now." Lexi openly admitted to Neveah.
"Yeah, I can tell." Neveah slowly nodded her head up and down as she furrowed her eyes at the sight of Cassie walking towards them, "What the hell."
Lexi frowned and shifted her attention to look behind her. Cassie stood in front of them looking like she was about to cry.
"Do you think Nate's still coming over?" Cassie worriedly asked the two girls who each shrugged at her, Cassie sighed and walked away taking a big gulp of her drink.
