"The fuck is you lookin at like that ma?" Ashtray frowned over at Neveah who store at him with a big smirk on her face.
"There's no one else around so obviously you?" She rolled her eyes sarcastically. Ashtray shook his head and let out a light chuckle as he shifted his attention back to the road.
"You talk to Rue lately?" Ashtray asked, causing Neveah to furrow her eyes.
"No.. Why?" She turned her phone off and slipped it into her pocket.
"Ion kno. She hasn't been comin around no more and you haven't talked about her in a min." Ashtray shrugged.
"Ohhh, yeah no, We kinda fell off I guess." Neveah sighed, "I miss her though I hope she's okay." she pulled her phone back out and opened instagram.
"What?" Ashtray took his eyes off the road and looked over at Neveah who's face dropped and she had a hand over her mouth.
"Holy fuck." Neveah widened her eyes as she watched a video of Rue jumping over cars and running all around town, she turned her phone and showed Ashtray.
"What the fuck man. She doin too much for real, she jus needa calm the fuck down with her manic ass." Ashtray groaned, shaking his head at the girls actions.
"I really need to talk to her bro, she's scaring me. Her friend or ex.. I don't know, but she texted me and told me that Rue went like crazy on her today but I didn't reply because I didn't think too much of it." Neveah began to get worried for her bestfriend, Ashtray noticed her changed expression and he placed his hand on her thigh making eye contact with her, "Aye, she's gon be alright, Rues smart as fuck she knows what she's doin." he tried to reassure her.
Neveah nodded her head, and took a deep breath as she felt anxious about everything.
"I think somethings goin on with Faye.." Ashtray nervously let out, changing the subject, "Why's that?" Neveah frowned slightly.
"She been acting hella weird, her boyfriend came the other day and every since then she's just been off and so is he." Ashtray explained.
"Yeah he's always seemed off. Like kinda fake or something." Neveah slightly shrugged, "But knowing Faye i'm sure it's nothing crazy she's just kinda.. Air headed.."
Ashtray chuckled at Neveah's response as he pulled up to the Howard's residence, "Thanks for the ride Ash." Neveah gave a light smile.
"Anytime." Ashtray made a line with his lips and watched as Neveah began to get her things together, "Ima still see you when you done here right?"
"Duh, I ain't missin movie night don't trip." Neveah playfully rolled her eyes at him, "Good." he nodded.
Neveah leaned over and gave Ashtray a quick peck on his lips before she got out of the car and shut the door behind her.
Neveah began walking to the front door as she could feel Ashtray's hard gaze at her, she turned to face him crossing her arms. Ashtray rolled his eyes before he drove away.
Neveah lightly chuckled and knocked at the door to be greeted by Lexi, "Hi!" Neveah smiled and pulled Lexi into a passionate hug.
"Hey, Nev! How are you?" Lexi asked as the two girls made their way to the kitchen.
"Good, Good. Happy that Ash and I are back together. How are you?" Neveah smiled as she sat up on the counter watching as Lexi poured them each a cup of orange juice.
"Im glad that you two are back, your like made for each other, I think the break was all that you guys needed." Lexi smiled and handed Neveah her glass, "But Im actually doing good myself. I've been focusing on my play and I've started talking to Fezco more often."
