Neveah sat in the passagers seat of Ashtray's car for which felt like forever before she finally decided break the silence.
"Ash.." She lightly looked up at him, "V.." He hesitantly responded, keeping his eyes glued to the road, "Maddy texted me, are you good?"
"No.. Not really.." Neveah shook her head, sniffling as she slouched into the seat.
"What's goin on V, what's on your mind?" Ashtray finally glanced down at the girl, with a sympathetic look on his face.
"You. I cant stop thinking about you. Your on my mind every fucking second and I hate that I feel like that about you when you don't even feel the same about me." Neveah honestly let out.
"I still feel the same about you, there wasn't a second that I didn't. We just needed space, we were up each other's asses all the time and the fighting wasn't good for us." Ashtray placed his hand on her thigh lightly, sending shivers through her body.
"I miss you." Neveah murmured, staring out the window, sniffing every few seconds.
"And I miss you too V." Ashtray admitted, he looked at Neveah and broke a small smile, "You still got that necklace on." he looked at her neck.
Neveah looked down at the necklace and started figiding with it, "Yea.." she made a line with her lips.
"I hope your not mad at me." Ashtray spoke, hoping Neveah would fold again.
Neveah just glanced at the boy making eye contact, she then looked at the satrio, playing Lovely by Brent Faiyaz, and turned it up all the way, continuing to make eye contact with Ash.
Ashtray nodded his head and pulled into a vacant parking spot at a park, "Come on V, you know it was the best option in that time."
"Whatever you say." Neveah gave Ashtray the side eye as she watched him turn off the Aux.
Neveah sighed with a smug look on her face, Ashtray placed his hand on her cheek and wiped away the tears under her eyes with his thumb.
"Like you said, what we have is toxic and we can't keep coming back to each other, like feins." Neveah softly let out knowing that she didn't want that to be the reality of their situation.
"That's not what I said." Ashtray frowned at Neveah, "I know Ash but you might as well have." she sniffled.
"I don't want us to be over." Ashtray honestly spoke.
"I don't either Ash, but we're not healthy for each other." Neveah sighed looking away from Ash.
"Please V. Don't." Ashtray pleaded, Neveah didn't respond she just sat there holding back her tears.
The two sat in an uncomfortable silence for a bit processing everything.
Neveah felt Ashtray's hard stares at her as she refused to look at him in that sad state.
"Neva-" Ashtray broke the silence, Neveah cut him off by grabbing his face and kissing him. Ashtray was taken back a bit but he quickly gave in.
The kiss started without tongue. it then began to get its bearings and rhythm. they both got a little more into the moment, Neveah increased the pressure. Ashtray lightly touched Neveah's tongue with his to start.
they both started to feel more connected to the other person. Neveah just tuned out any extra mental chatter giving into the moment. Neveah's hands roamed around his body starting at his chest.
Ashtray started tugging on her lower lip with his teeth during the kiss. Neveah then began pulling him closer to her and started touching his neck.
Neveah pulled away from the kiss and just looked at Ashtray for a second, "Sorry." she muttered, hiding her face into her lap.
