Xiao turned to the side, unsure what all the commotion was about.
"Do you know what that is Xiao?"
He lifted his gaze and followed her hand to a small dainty stall selling.... Sakura Mochi's? he had never hear of such mortal delicacies...
"Those are Sakura Mochis, they're so hard to find! I heard they come from Inazuma and are to die for! Cliché, don't ya think?"
A small smile plastered across his face upon hearing the last line.
"To die for...." He mumbled.
A luxury some can't afford, like him, maybe death was a good thing... Only through death can one appreciate life, but, to put it simply, he couldn't.
"Let's go get some!" She suggested, jovially skipping to the stall.
He walked up closer to notice a small shop, slightly different from the others, was it the colors? Or simply "Inazuman"? Odd He thought to himself.
"2 Sakura Mochi please!" She spoke, placing a cloth bag full of mora on the side.
"I'm sorry miss, but we don't have anymore..."
"Hein!? Bu-but I just saw someone get some!"
"I'm sorry miss."
"But-bu- c'mon! I'll give you anything! Mora, you want that? We've even got free coupons! Cmon! Please!
The adepti nudged her elbow slightly, but enough to get her attention.
"Leave it Hu Tao..." he whispered
"Not happening Xiao. This is once in a lifetime and that doesn't come very often!"
"How 'bout-"
"I'm sorry miss, we don't have anymore..."
"But-"
"Hu Tao," The Yaksha finally spoke, slightly irritated.
"Let's go, the fireworks are already starting..."
"Oh yea... wouldn't wanna miss that.."
