"Speaking" 'Thinking'
The two sat there in a tight hug, the boy couldn't stop himself from crying. Kage pretty much picked him up and hugged him close. "Never let someone tell you what you can and can't do." She told him. "Or you'll be held back for the rest of your life."
The boy hugged back desperately. Thoughts of his past came back, the words of his ex best friend turned bully, the words of his mother the moment they found out he was quirkless. The way his class would throw shade at him simply because of something he couldn't even help.
Kage placed a gentle hand on the boy's face. "Hey, you don't need to pay any attention to what Mr. Hero says. If you want to be something, than you find a way. That's how everything works nowadays, right?" She asked with small bead-like tears in the corner of her eyes.
She gave the boy a little smile. "Besides, you know that UA just passed a rule that you don't need a quirk to be a hero, right?" She asked.
The boy nodded at her question. "Exactly, which means that the words of people don't matter, it's already been established that it can happen." She told him. She wiped the tears from the boy's face.
"Now, why don't you tell me your name, boy." She asked with a smile. She has a feeling that her words may have just caused one of the biggest changes of her timeline there could be. However, for some reason, that didn't bother her in the slightest.
"It's Izuku..., Izuku Midoriya" The boy told her. Tears were still spilling out of his eyes. He couldn't stop them after hearing this stranger's words.
"Well then, Midoriya, why don't we get down from here?" She asked, referring to still being on the roof of an unknown building.
"Ah..., I forgot, aren't you scared of heights!" He practically shouted with his hands swinging every which way.
Kage laughed at the boy. "Nope, that was only the case when I was in my smaller state... Also...., don't ask about that..." She told him with a light blush spreading across her face. The boy smiled and nodded. The two made their way down the stairs of what appeared to be an apartment building.

"By the way..., what's your name?" Midoriya asked, looking up towards the taller woman. Kage smirked.
"You can call me Kage. That's what everyone calls me." She told the boy with a large grin. The boy nodded with determined eyes. Kage thought about giving the boy her last name for a second, but realized that it could become dangerous.
The two walked along a concrete path, talking to one another about random things that have occurred in their lives. It was peaceful, until of course a familiar explosion happened a few roads to the right. In an instant, Kage realized where they were. She sighed internally and watched as the boy that was peacefully walking beside her, dashed towards the direction of the explosion.
'Well, it's not like I can stop an event that was already determined to happen.' She told herself with a frown. She walked at a slightly faster pace, chasing after Midoriya slowly.
The moment she got there, she witnessed Midoriya running head first into a battle she was pretty sure could get him killed. She shouted after him, worried he'd end up getting hurt.
The boy payed no attention to the woman's voice and just kept moving towards the villain. Kage got to the front of the crowd, feeling more worried than needed. She already knew what was going to happen. The only problem now, is that she may have stirred this in him.
She watched intently at the scene displayed in front of her. Her quirk immediately flickered on, analyzing every step the boy made and every breath taken. She sighed in relief as the results displayed itself in front of her. The boy threw his backpack at the villain, books flying from the unzipped pouch.
