Why Are They All So Annoying... | Chapter 7

"Speaking" 'Thinking'

As class started back up, things were still difficult. Kage's 'Bodyguard' stood next to her the entire time. He was starting to grow tired of just standing around, but if he moved too much, then he'd expose himself. The class was quiet aside from the teacher. Something told him that it was like this because of Kage's appearance, it looks like her demeanor is a little too scary for the kids.

As class came to an end, All Might still stood by Kage's side, he was worried that if he moved he'd end up getting in trouble, and he wasn't exactly thrilled with that idea. He watched as the kids slowly got up from their seats, Kage was sent nervous stares from multiple of the children around the room. 

Specifically the kid in front of Midoriya..., he kept on staring over at her like he knew her or something. Kage took a glance towards Midoriya, the boy looked scared. At the same time, he looked like he wanted to say something. Before she could get up and ask, a couple of the girl's from her class approached her.

All Might was going to step in, but Kage threw a hand up, which he assumed was telling him to stay put. The girl's watched this action nervously. They approached her slowly and looked at one another.

"Uh..., y- your name was Ryu-san right?" One of the girl's asked. All Might's glare increased at the girls, but he stood in place. He spared a glance toward the front of the room, a couple male students stood around staring at Kage as well.

For some reason, he felt like he should be doing something. But from Kage's instructions, he stayed put and refused to make a move.

"Yeah, what about it?" Kage questioned. Her voice sounded younger then it had sounded when they were in the car together. He wondered if she had a way to change it. He took a glance towards the girls to see how they would respond.

"Ah..., um..., we were wondering..., if you wanted to... eat lunch with us..." Another girl asked. She looked like she was shaking.

Kage looked up towards All Might, then towards the students and looked back down at her phone. All Might took that as a sign to get rid of them.

"Ahem!" All Might coughed. His glare was now seen by the girls as he stepped in front of Kage. The girls shivered at the man's presence and took a few steps back.

"Ah..., never mind. Please excuse us." The girls spoke as they ran out of the classroom.

Kage huffed at the girls' reaction. Maybe he was a little too intimidating...

"Go get me something from the cafeteria. Preferably a salad..." Kage told the man. All Might was reluctant to be away from Kage in this random school, but nodded his head and walked towards the door.

As All Might left towards the cafeteria, a couple boy's made their way towards her desk. "Hey cutie, you're new here right. What made you transfer?" One of the boy's asked. |LilLemon, this sentence made me gag...|

Kage cringed at the annoying kid. "School Violence." Kage told them as she continued to look through something on her phone. Apparently this startled the male students as they listened to the reason.

Kage looked up at the group as she placed her phone down on the desk. She was getting sick of being in this school already. For some reason, that annoying blonde kept staring at her, and other people from the class wouldn't leave her alone. She knew it'd be annoying to be here, but for some reason, she was even more agitated than normal.

She sighed and got up from her chair, stretching as she stood. The boys watched as she stretched out her body. She walked towards the desk in front of her and knelt down, sitting on her knees as she placed her arms on the desk.

"Hey you, come eat lunch with me. Out of all these annoying little freaks, you're the only one that hasn't managed to annoy me." She spoke. Midoriya looked at Kage in surprise and began to mutter and throw his arms every which way.

"Hah! You'd rather hang out with that annoying dipshit than us!?" The boy's shouted. Kage glared over in their direction. As All Might came back with a bag in his hand, the boys seemed to back down. 

"Tch" Kage growled. She stood up and grabbed the hand of the flustered boy. "Let's go." She told him.

Midoriya wasn't expecting her to get involved with him during school hours. He's worried that this might cause her problems.

Kage dragged the boy up towards the rooftop where a certain blonde would usually eat his lunch. However, if Kage went up there with him, he doubted that he would cause too many problems.

Kage threw the door to the roof open and went towards a bench off to the side. Kage sat on the bench and sighed. "You know, I thought that this would be easy, but everything here seems to annoy me..." Kage told the boy.

Midoriya stayed quiet, unsure how to respond. Kage watched as a group of students followed them to the rooftop and simply watched. All Might handed Kage the bag that he'd gotten for her as she sat on the bench, tapping the spot beside her, signaling for Midoriya to sit down.

"Hurry up and sit down." Kage told the boy. Midoriya was worried that this was definitely going to cause problems with Kachan now... him and his group were staring daggers at them...

Midoriya took the seat next to her and stayed as quiet as he possibly could. He took out his lunch and began to eat with the girl. He knew that this was his mentor, but she was acting so strange compared to how she normally acted with him.

"Why are you being so shy?" Kage asked the boy. Midoriya flinched at her words.

"I- I don't want to draw their attention to you..." Midoriya told her.

"Oh please, like they'd do anything to me. There's an adult standing next to us, they wouldn't be that stupid." Kage told him. Midoriya shot a glance towards All Might. 

He didn't even like being in a close proximity to him after that day. He'd even removed all the posters and merch in his room and instead placed a picture frame of Ms. Shadow on his wall and on his desk.

He didn't know how everything changed so fast for him. But since that day, Kage's been his #1... he may or may not have even looked up a few things about her alias 'Shadow'.

Kage sighed. "Just relax, if they try anything while I'm around, they'll learn exactly why I got expelled from my last school." Kage joked. Midoriya didn't take that as a joke though, he was actually worried for what she'd do to them...
