Kage's Forgotten Fear... | Chapter 8

"Speaking" 'Thinking' |Editor-chan here, I fell for a trick and now have to re-edit this entire chapter T-T never click ctrl-shift-qq, logged me out of my damn computer.|

"Mr. Yagi, go grab my notebook for me." Kage told the man. "The one with a purple rim on it." All Might was reluctant, but nodded and made his way down the school towards the girl's classroom.

As All Might left, Kage finally sighed. "God it's tough with him around. It feels so strange having that moron with me everywhere I go." Kage whined.

Midoriya chuckled at Shadow's words. He looked at her, then towards Kachan's group. He was startled when he found them making their way towards them. He wanted to say something, but before he could, a loud explosion was heard. Midoriya was scared, he knew that something bad was going to happen. He looked over to Kage and was even more frightened, Kage's face was morphed into one of pure terror.

"I... I may have fo-forgotten something important..." Kage whispered out, her voice sounded heavy and rough.

"A-... age fourteen. Greatest fe-fear..., explosions...." Kage whispered to him. Midoriya watched as she trembled in front of him, her eyes wide and looking like she was having a hard time even breathing. Before the group could get any closer to them, the door to the roof was pushed open. 

All Might walked through the door with the notebook she'd asked him to grab. As he walked up to them, he saw Kage trembling in place. He scowled and glanced toward Midoriya. 

The boy was staring at the group of boys standing a few feet behind the two. All Might grew angry for some reason. Apparently,he knew how to play his role better than he'd thought, that or he was actually starting to grow protective over the younger versions of Shadow... That thought traumatized him.

He grew angry as he watched Kage sit there terrified, similar to her smaller form when he'd first met her. Her eyes were wide, hands shaking almost violently. He glared in the boys' direction, they'd already started taking slow steps back. He wanted to say something, but instead walked calmly towards Kage to see what was wrong.

"Ms. Ryu, what's wrong?" All Might questioned. He played his role perfectly, the only problem, was that he wasn't acting, he was seriously questioning what was wrong with the woman. Kage trembled as she looked towards the blonde.

The boy flinched at her stare. He didn't even know what was happening, why would he be the problem. "..., Ryu-San, what's wrong?" Midoriya asked. Kage shook her head, trying her best not to make a scene. 

"...M- Mr. Yagi, I think I may need to visit the nurse..." Kage told him. All Might nodded towards her and went to lift her up. She was still trembling, her body trembling even more as she took a glance at the younger blonde. It wasn't nice in the slightest to feel so weak. It pissed her off, but it was also her own fault for forgetting her own fears. Though this wasn't exactly an age that was often shifted into...

"Midoriya right? Follow me..." The man grumbled at the boy, acting kind of like the woman's driver from before. It was strange putting up an act like this. He wasn't the rude type, but the way he acted seemed to make others think he was the real deal...

Midoriya nodded nervously at All Might, quickly picking up his and Kage's belongings and following behind the two closely. He took a glance towards the group of boys, only to find Kachan , as he called him, staring at the girl in angered confusion. He was definitely going to get a beating later...

Bakugou watched as the three made their way down from the roof, he hadn't even spoken, yet that girl looked terrified out of her mind... He clicked his tongue, then went to sit back down and continue his lunch with the other pathetic hero wannabes. The girl seemed familiar for some reason. That thought just seemed to piss him off even more.

All Might carried Kage all the way to the nurses office. When they finally got there, Kage grabbed his hand before he could knock on the door. "..., I'm fine..., I just..., forgot my fear." Kage told the man as a bright shade of pink found its way to her face.

It was awkward to tell him she'd forgotten something as important as that. "I forgot that at age fourteen I was scared to death of explosions... It's from something when I was younger...." Kage told the man. It was embarrassing really, the reason was simply because she'd met a member from the male's side of the family that had been abandoned. Instead of the family's information type quirk, the man had an explosion quirk.

Let's just say that he wasn't the nicest person in the world, nor someone that was accepted by the family. A large scar on her back would tell you all you'd need to know of what happened that day.

All Might looked down at the girl with pity, her plan was going perfectly, if it weren't for her fear, then everything would have worked out fine. All Might sighed and went to place her down. Kage placed a foot on the ground and almost fell. She was quickly held up by Midoriya. Midoriya looked at Shadow with fear. If she was so scared of Kachan, then how exactly were they going to continue with this plan...
