"Speaking" 'Thinking'

After finally coming up with a decision, the three find themselves outside the apartment of the young boy's mother. A hesitant look between one another later, they placed a knock on the door. On the other side of the door, they could hear a woman calling out.

"Just a minute." She shouted. When the door opened, the boy's mother found herself staring at two very tall people and her son. "I...- Izuku? What's going on?" She questioned, looking up at both All Might and Kage.

 -

The three sat in the living room of a small apartment, all three of them stuffed onto one small couch. The tension in the room was beyond anything Izuku had ever felt before. His hands began to sweat as he looked between his possible mentor and his mother.

Inko sighed. "I can't allow this." The woman spoke.

"Mo-

"Izuku! These two strangers came out of nowhere and suddenly claim they want to help you become a hero. It's too dangerous, I can't allow it." Inko spoke.

"Ma'am- ek!- Kage was about to speak, but her quirk suddenly malfunctioned once again and turned her into a smaller version of herself.

All three of the other people in the room looked at her with surprised expressions. Her face suddenly grew a warm shade of red as they continued to stare.

"Ahem, as I was about to say..." She continued, the three still stared at the girl with wide eyes. "I'd like to ask you for your permission to train your son." She spoke.

"I can assure you that your son would be in the utmost care if he was under my supervision. Your son has a good head on his shoulders. I can help him develop it even further, teach him to use it effectively. Your son could get into just about any school he pleases, if he were to become my student." Kage told the woman. The three were still quiet. Inko sighed as she listened to the woman.

"I still don't like the idea of my son becoming a hero... but, I have heard a few things about you, Ms. Shadow." Inko started. "I'm only allowing this because I trust you Ms. Shadow. I've heard your name in many situations in board meetings, so I know that I can trust you." Inko told the woman. (Inko works with the gov. In this, she's not just a nurse/cook/or seamstress.)

"However," Inko looked over at Small Might with a small glare. "I've never met, nor heard of this man, so I can't say that I'm thrilled with the idea of him teaching my son." She told them.

Izuku gulped at his mother's words. He'd forgotten to tell her just who this skinny man really is. Kage simply smiled. "I can assure you that he will not have a bad effect on your son's future. I will be thoroughly monitoring the interactions that go on between these two. No interaction will go unnoticed." She reassured her.

All Might gulped at the woman's words. She sounded so sure of herself. In truth, All Might wanted to know what she was going to do with the boy if he didn't become his successor. Those thoughts kept circling in his head. How would she make this boy into a hero, without the kid having a quirk.

Inko sighed in defeat. "Fine..., Izuku, you have my permission." The woman told the three. "That doesn't mean to go throwing yourself into dangerous situations, if I hear that you almost die even once during the next few months, don't even think about leaving the house for the next ten years." The woman told her son.

Kage smirked at the woman. Kage jumped off of the couch, her small feet making contact with the floor a little quicker than she thought and ended up tripping. Lets just say that she was a little overly embarrassed.

Kage walked over towards a chuckling Inko Midoriya and outstretched her hand. "Excuse my rudeness..., I look forward to the future, your son is going to be someone great." She told the woman.

Inko's smile brightened at her words. "My son would've been someone great whether you came into his life or not." The woman told her with confidence. The two sat there and shared a laugh.

-

"Alright Midoriya, for the next few weeks All Ass and I will be tailing you and getting an understanding of your daily routine. You don't need to take any kind of special action just because the two of us are here, got that?" Kage told the boy.

"Yes, ma'am." Izuku told the woman with determination.

"Can you stop giving me so many weird nicknames..." All Might butted in.

"I've already notified your school as well, I will be attending in my child form and keeping close watch." Kage told the boy. Midoriya suddenly started to panic at the thought.

"No need to worry, even your little bully of a friend won't be able to get between me keeping a close eye on you." Kage reassured.

Midoriya sighed and rubbed the back of his head. 'That's not exactly what I was worried about...' the boy thought.

"Wait, what about me? I can't just be walking around some middle school. I don't have the ability to regress my body like you do." All Might questioned.

"No need to worry, you'll be posing as my bodyguard. Technically I'll be some 'rich, goody two shoes'." Kage smirked up at the man. The look in her eyes was just pure confidence.

All Might sighed, how exactly was he supposed to pose as a person's bodyguard.
