Confession

Later that night, Lance and Walter were eating dinner and chatting about something else. Walter can't help but feeling joyed that Lance is gonna confessed his love towards him. He wants everything to be perfect. He changed his outfit, he cooked Lance a nice, almost fancy meal, and even put on a romantic movies just to slight the mood a bit.

Lance on the other hand, was confused? He doesn't know what's got into Walter. All he wanted was to tell him something quick, not eating some fancy dinner he made. (which is really good, who knew Walter can cook really well) and watch some cheesy romantic comedy. As the movie finished, Lance turned off the TV and said to Walter.

Lance: Walter there's something I wanna say.

Walter stayed quietly, he knew what he's gonna say.

Walter: What is it?

Lance took a deep breath and said.

Lance: Well is that...I've been seeing Marcy for about a while now and we've been keeping a secret cause it would affect our work. I just wanna to tell you that because I've never been this happy before.

Walter's face turned from happy to sad. He couldn't believe what he heard? Lance was in love with Marcy and what's worse is that they've been seeing each other for who knows how long? Walter put on a brave face and smile to Lance without breaking down.

Walter: That's great Lance. I'm so happy for you and Marcy.

He said pretending to be happy for them but felt like he wanted to cry right now.

Lance: Thanks! I knew you'll be happy for us.

Walter: Yeah...happy.

Walter doesn't want his sad mood to ruined Lance's happy news, so he stayed pretending to be happy for him for like about a few minutes.

Lance say good night to Walter and left, leaving Walter alone and heartbroken. He went upstairs to his bedroom were his three bird friends were sleeping in their cages. He lay in his bed and hugged his unicorn plushy tightly and started crying.
