Heartbreak

The next day, Walter seems like he doesn't wanna be here anymore. His heart was shattered when he sees Lance and Marcy being all lovey dovey with each other. He can't even look at them without him crying his eyes out. The only times he gets to let all his emotions out is when he's in his lab or in the bathroom alone and he sat their for a few minutes or hours wishing it was him that Lance loved.

Turns out Lance and Marcy told everyone in the H.T.U.V.that their a couple and everyone is very supported and congrats to them; which made Walter really hurt. He felt like he's his old self again were people ignored him or doesn't care what he says or does. But he doesn't care about that anymore, right now, all he cares about is finishing his gadgets.

Walter told all his problems to his pet bird friends, his grandmother, and his best friend Marty, who is a teacher at a middle school. They've known each other since high school and was Walter's only friend who stuck by him through sticks and stones. He told him everything that happened last night, and Marty says "to move on, it hurts but he'll find another somebody who'll love him too."

It hurts him still to just moved on from Lance romantically. They can still be friends even know it's hard for him, but he can't stay sad and depressed forever. For the rest of the day, he continues to work on his gadgets when Lance shows up outta know where and said to Walter.

Lance: Walter! your done yet?

Walter stops what he's doing and looked at Lance without much eye contact.

Walter: What?

Lance: It's time to head out.

Walter looks at his watch and that it's time to head home now.

Walter: Oh...I guess I lost track of the time.

Lance looked at him weirdly, something is off about him?

Lance: You OK buddy? You've been distant lately, is everything OK.

Walter couldn't tell him what's wrong, who know what could happened? so he made up an excuse.

Walter: Yeah I'm fine it's just...I've hardly got much sleep last time, but I'm fine, really?

Lance hardly believes him, but decided to let it go just this once.

Lance: OK but next time get some more sleep, OK?

Walter: OK.

Lance: Good, now let's go.

Walter doesn't wanna go with him after all that, so he made up another excuse.

Walter: Actually...I'm just gonna take the bus home.

Lance: You sure?

Walter: Yes I'm sure. You properly have plans with Marcy anyway, I just don't want to intrude. See you tomorrow.

Walter walks outta here fast and Lance just stands their with shocked on his face. As Walter was fast walking towards the exit, he bumped into someone and was on the floor. He apologized for not paying attention and what he saw makes him forget about his heartbreak.
