𝟭𝟳: the change

Jeno tries to think that he doesn't need any sexual attraction when he's with Jaemin. But he knows he isn't right.

He needs a person who would take at least half of what Jeno has too much and in this context, it means lust. The half-human hasn't messed with people for a while, his powers starting to strangle him from inside. If only it wasn't like that in the future just because of Jaemin...

The next day Jeno can't even get out of his bed. Lust is overflowing. He feels hot blood running in his veins, agitation and excitement are bothering him, both making it hard for him to think straight. He's aroused without even moving a finger. When his powers turn at him, it happens so suddenly.

Jeno tries to tries to clear his head, but it's pointless. He's thinking too much of Jaemin. And he finds it funny that both of them appear like each other's missing halves. One has too much lust, another has none.

"Are you sick, Jeno?" Renjun approaches his roommate, clueless.

The male shakes his head and hides his face under the blanket.

"You sure are! Your face is red! Do you have a fever?"

"No, Renjun..." Jeno mumbles from under the blanket. "It happens once in a while... My powers turn at me."

"You turn yourself on?"

"Kinda..."

Renjun starts laughing which annoys his roommate. Jeno sits up and pulls the blanket off his face.

"Don't laugh at me! I can easily turn everything at you. You're the only target in this room."

"Don't you dare!" Renjun yells and steps back. "I'm a matchmaker of pure love which means that I can't do anything against my rules! And one of those rules is forbidden lust!"

"Hell!"

Jeno has never used his powers on Renjun. He kind of knew that this boy was too innocent for that and even when he found out that his roommate is half of that, he still can't bring himself to mess with him.

Jeno falls back into his bed. He covers his face and groans.

"It looks like I have to go out and share my distress with humans."

Jeno skips class just to get every single thought of lust out of his head. He walks down the streets and throws glances at people, then snaps his fingers and feels how a little weight has been lifted.

After making like fifteen people face unexpected lust, Jeno can finally breathe normally. His thoughts are no longer messy and he feels free.

He thinks about going back to his room and resting but chooses to go to the building in which Jaemin has his practice class. Jeno waits there for half an hour until he sees people leaving. One student, another student, and Jeno's eyes catch Jaemin right away.

But the human boy Jeno fell for looks different. His hair is no longer blue, but pink now. The color suits him the same as the pink pajama... When Jeno remembers that he said that yesterday, he blushes. But he blushes even more when he realizes that he must have encouraged Jaemin to dye his hair just in that color!

Jeno's breath hitches as he understands how pretty Jaemin has become. Is it Renjun's love magic again or is it Jeno's true feelings? He doesn't know but his heart beats faster the longer he stares at Jaemin.

The human boy is frowning from the bright sun which is cute, but the next second he's beaming like the sun itself. Jeno knows right away that Jaemin notices him as the boy stops where he's going and turns to walk to Jeno.

"What are you doing here?" Jaemin asks, full of excitement.

"I was passing by, so I thought I should wait for you," Jeno says. He tries to play it cool. There's no way he's going to say he waited for Jaemin all thirty minutes.

"That's cute," Jaemin giggles.

If Jeno isn't wrong, he even blushes.

The silence then occurs, but Jeno doesn't want them to stop talking as time with Jaemin always goes fast. The half-demon feels like they still have a lot of things to talk about.

"Nice hair color," he points out.

He just can't miss showing that he noticed the changes.

"Oh, thanks," Jaemin's face beams even more. "I thought about dying my hair for a while but didn't know in what color. But then you said that pink looks good on me, so..."

"I'm happy for collaborating," Jeno laughs and so does Jaemin.

They go silent yet again, but Jeno has too much prepared and doesn't plan to let it all go to waste.

"Are you hungry? I know a really good place..."

Jeno can see that Jaemin is surprised by the sudden invitation which surely feels like a date. Well, the half-human is surprised himself. He doesn't usually bring people to eat with him. Maybe because they all expect him to pay for everything.

But Jeno is willing to pay for Jaemin.
