Jeno hasn't summoned his father for a while. Well, it's not like they have a good father and son relationship. If you ask Jeno, he would most likely answer that they meet, talk, and go their ways. After all, you can't drink coffee with a demon who can go through walls. It's not like his faces are good to stare at for long too...

But Asmodeus usually showed up when Jeno called him. That's how they both wanted it to happen. The demon doesn't have a tight schedule like Jeno, he can appear whenever, but it's his son who can't talk to him if he does so.

That's why Jeno doesn't expect to see his father at all. Though, he does him just as he and Jaemin step inside their room. The sight is unexpected and Jeno doesn't know what to do. He starts thinking that maybe he accidentally summoned his father. But he knows he didn't.

Asmodeus stands there awkwardly, if it's even possible for a demon, and stares at his son. Though, soon his eyes dart at Jaemin, someone way more interesting.

"Oh my God!" Jaemin yells and hides behind Jeno.

The half-demon panics.

"Wait, you can see him?"

"Who's that ugly-looking thing? Jeno, take him outside!"

"That's my father."

"F-Fuck, I mean... who is this handsome creature?"

"Don't, I kind of agree with you," Jeno whispers, chuckling. "He's not the prettiest."

Jeno then turns to his father, who, thankfully, struggles with Korean. Asmodeus likes English more, which makes Jeno think that this four-head demon has another kid in other countries.

"My dear father," he says. "What brings you here?"

Asmodeus is straightforward. His narrow vocabulary doesn't let him beat around the bush.

"Is that the human?"

"Yes, father. The human behind me is Jaemin. He's now my boyfriend."

"I can tell."

"What?" Jaemin chokes.

"The human smells like you."

"Oh..." Jeno chuckles.

Of course, Jaemin does. They touch each other whenever they can. They sleep together. Jaemin has to smell like Jeno, but it should be the other way around too.

"But wait... Why can Jaemin see you?"

"You must've marked him."

"What? When and where?" Jeno furrowed his eyebrows.

Trust him, he has seen Jaemin naked but not even once did he see a symbol or mark on his boyfriend's body.

"The seed," the demon barks, and Jeno catches it right away.

He turns his head to Jaemin and smiles apologetically.

"I have bad news."

"What are you talking about?" Jaemin glares.

"The protection... It must've broken yesterday."

"Jeno!"

Jaemin's eyes are now burning the half-demon. It makes Jeno think that his boyfriend is in charge of powers he doesn't have.

"I know, I know... I should have checked it first, but now it's not that important."

"What is more important than that?"

"You will see my father from now on."

Jaemin also connected the dots. Even though he doesn't know it like Jeno, he might catch what is happening. You see, it looks like Jeno accidentally marked Jaemin from the inside. As the demon's son, he sure has other powers than being in charge of lust. One of them has to be spreading his father's symbol, creating a legion of humans so that Asmodeus could be honored in both worlds.

Jaemin isn't a woman, however, which means there will be no children. But Jeno is glad. Because there's no way he's going to let his children have such weird power. It's enough that he thinks of it as a curse sometimes. If he ever wants children, Jaemin will be the one taking care of it.

"Right now, he's like your father-in-law," Jeno whispers after a short pause.

It's fun to see Jaemin's face changing. He tries to force a smile, but he's still freaking out at the sight of the demon.

"I have to thank Cupid," Asmodeus mumbles before disappearing.

Jaemin only blinks and freaks out again as he can no longer see the demon.

"Where did he go?"

"He went back to Hell."

"Really?"

"I think so. I've never been to Hell."

"Thank Go–"

"Don't," Jeno presses his index finger on Jaemin's lips. "Such words are forbidden. I feel goosebumps whenever I hear people mentioning him."

Jaemin steps backward.

"You should have told me."

"You're learning new things every day."

"Sometimes against my will," the boy rolls his eyes. "Anyway... Did your father just mention Cupid?"

Jeno knew Jaemin will hear this part.

"He did," the half-demon replies, honestly.

"Does Cupid also exist? And... Why was he even mentioned?"

Jeno sighs.

"There's way more you need to know."
